RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform the tasks of teaching, training, supervising, maintaining and developing the functioning level of client to function adequately and independently in the areas of Activities of Daily Living, Community Living, Social and Recreational Skills.

Client Engagement & Development

• To meaningfully engage, teach, train, supervise, maintain and develop the functioning level of clients to function adequately and independently in the following areas:

• Activities of Daily Living
• Home Living Skills
• Community Living & Mobility Skills
• Social and Recreational Skills
• Work Readiness Skills

Client/Trainee Management & Development

• Formulate and implement Individual Learning Programme (ILP) through professional assessment
• Engage in continuous assessment, training and evaluation of trainees' holistic development
• Plan and Implement appropriate group activities
• Plan, implement and monitor trainees' security and safety procedures

Support Allied Health Professionals

• Monitor and implement programmes designed by Allied Health Professionals in the area of health fitness & wellness programme, motivational & behaviour management plans as well as sensory awareness
• Communicate critical information to Social Worker and Centre Manager

Administrative & Operations

• Support unit operational and logistics management
• Ensure centre/trainees safety and security
• Update of clients'/trainee's daily attendance and participation in activities, events and programmes in various client management system platforms
• Engage in caregiver dialogue sessions, home visits and maintain good rapport and communication with parents / caregivers
• Attend staff meeting and training as required

Event Management

Staff will be assigned to oversee at least one of the following duties and will provide assistance to the other staff when required:

Camp, Festive Celebrations, Sports Events, First Aid & Medicare, Evacuation & Emergency Planning Team, Transport Duties, Staff Welfare and others

• Organise internal/external events and activities for trainees
• Support volunteer engagement events
• Support public education activities
• Support MINDS events at organisation level

• Minimum O levels
• NITEC Certificate in Community Care & Social Services (ITE)
• Certificate of Special Needs Education (MOE)
• Diploma of Special Education (MOE)
• Diploma in Disability Studies (SSI)
• Diploma of Community Services (SSI)

• Computer literacy skills MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• People-oriented team player
• Good interpersonal and communication skill
• Passion and great deal of patience to work with people with intellectual disabilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

Time Management and Service Quality

• Ensure proper maintenance of all vehicles to ensure all vehicles works towards zero breakdown including proper operating wheelchair lift or other mobility devices where necessary.
• Administer safety procedures for all drivers to follow during transportation to ensure safe and secure transport environment.
• Follow emergency procedures when necessary.
• To support drivers in the event of crisis such as manpower shortage, etc

Data Management

• Perform administrative tasks such as manage duty rooster for all drivers, including billing and claims.
• Manage all drivers annual leave and schedule basis on the duty rooster.
• Ensure familiar with BCP for MOW.

Stakeholder Management

• Serve as a point-of-contact to support all programs related to logistic matters.
• Work closely with team members.

• Class 2/3 Driving License, Bus Vocational License and Bus Attendant Vocational License
• Proficient in MS Office Applications
• Candidates are required to handle heavy loads.
• Ability to communicate in English and local languages.
• Pleasant personality with passion for serving the elderly/special needs community.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To provide clerical and office support to the Head of Centre, Centre Supervisor and Staff.
• To maintain and improve the department's clerical and office records and filing system.
• To assist with correspondence with parents/caregivers, other services of MINDS, and other agencies.
• To prepare, record, type documents minutes, daily/weekly/monthly reports as required by the Head of Centre.
• Filing of centre staff and clients' personal files, records, and confidential reports.
• Ensure safekeeping and accountability of petty cash.
• Ensure and maintain the operational readiness of all office equipment.
• Assist in inventory management and control of the centre.
• Assist in sourcing for quotation and processing orders (e-PR), purchase, and delivery of goods and services according to standard operating procedures.
• Assist in the administration of Means Testing (documentation).
• Monitor and ensure all trainees insurance policy are renewed annually.

• Minimum GCE O Levels/ ITE/ Diploma

• Effective and good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Computer literacy skills MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
• Simple basic accounting skills.
