As a Business Development Director, you are responsible for client acquisition/new business, developing long term relationships and understanding the critical business strategies of our clients customers across Asia Pacific and work with a team of subject matter experts to create and execute solutions to help the customer achieve their business objectives.

Job Scope / Responsibilities

• Generate annual revenue by signing multiple large deals with new brands across the Asia region
• Plan and execute robust business growth strategies to achieve multi-million revenue targets.
• Lead business development activities and develop new opportunities in existing and new clients.
• Engage and manage clients at appropriate levels, including C-suites across different functions.
• Negotiate commercial terms of engagement for new business and contract renewals.
• Work with the Client Services & Rewards team to ensure that project goals are met.
• Nurture relationships with existing clients to Retain and Expand existing accounts

Qualifications, Desired Skills & Experience

• Self-starter who can rapidly build new accounts using their robust network of executive buyers and influencers - relationship-selling approach.
• Strong knowledge of the APAC markets across multiple industry sectors.
• Experience of managing large RFPs/Tenders projects.
• Facility towards Smart Search insight gathering to quickly build intimacy with target clients.
• Natural aptitude towards human connection to collaborate and lead teams to a common goal.
• Ability to influence decision making and work across executive and operational levels.
• Minimum three years of direct B2B sales experience calling on Fortune 1000 companies.
• Clear history of consultative and value selling for HR/Tech consulting services
• Large volume sales experience ($350k+ plus per sale).
• Experience with broad range of sales cycles (three to six to twelve and twenty four months).
• Ability to travel regularly to build relationships towards regional deals
• Ideally but not mandatory, take part in public speaking activities to develop brand presence
• History of career stability with a maximum of three employers in the last ten years.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

• Processing of Mandatory and Voluntary Corporate Action events spanning global markets and all products covering Singapore and Hong Kong booking centres
• Ensure daily activities are conducted professionally and accurately while ensuring that internal guidelines and policies are followed

KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION

Client Management (internal & external)

• Coordinates with internal departments and external sub custodians, custodians, agents & brokers to ensure that daily work meets organizational standards
• Monitor the queries received and provide responses or holding replies within a reasonable timeframe.

Business Management

• Review daily inward/outward swift messages pertaining to Corporate Actions
• Processing & Reconciling positions and subsequently the entitlements due from Corporate Actions related transaction
• Monitor confirmation of entitlement and ensure entries posted on accurate and timely basis
• Perform daily review on reconciliation breaks for all activity with timely follow up and resolution
• Perform review on daily reconciliation before market deadlines in order to mitigate any possible operation risk of missing/incomplete processing of voluntary events resulting to possible operation loss
• Participate in User-Acceptance-Testing when required

Regulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk Management

• Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Job Description:

As the Finance and Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for:

Employee Management:

• Overseeing the employee onboarding process, ensuring all necessary documents are in order
• Managing the payroll process and coordinating with third-party providers for multi-country employees
• Providing support to employees regarding payroll-related queries and issues
• Developing and implementing employee policies and procedures about finance

Taxation, Accounting and Compliance:

Multi-Country Entity Management:
