- Report to the Singapore office Managing Director and Head of the Procurement division in Headquarter
- Lead development of procurement strategies to ensure alignment with HQ policy and strategy
- Analyze vendors’ profiles by having a full understanding of the site condition through close communication with PM or PE manager
- Regular conference meetings and report monthly issues with HQ
- Support tendering, especially HQ tender teams, for new projects in nearby countries
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors, site PM/PE Mgr. and PIC related to issues in HQ
- Manage and improve the current works, Long-term contracts, Logistics, Rental equipment, General bidding and Vendor list management
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in the Engineering field
- At least 15 years’ experience in the construction industry; inclusive of a minimum 10 years’ experience in a procurement leadership role is mandatory for this position
- Candidate must have a comprehensive knowledge of construction site requirements, hence experience in the construction site office is essential for this position.
- Candidate with experience in overseas projects such as power plant/Architectural/Civil projects is preferred
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
