Roles & Responsibilities :
- To establish and implement IKM Testing Business Strategies and Objectives.
- Participation in all major technical, cost, scheduling, and performance decisions.
- Analyse all tender documents and study the technical aspect of work, method and projects equipment to be utilised.
- Identify the critical projects activities/services.
- Evaluation of project proposals.
- Responsible for monitoring/coordinating/managing all aspects of projects.
- Providing technical direction to the project team.
- Establishment of effective method of evaluating and monitoring task accomplishments throughout the project.
- Development of existing and new services.
- Define all operational requirements within Company and verify that all actions are performed in accordance with procedures and deadlines.
- Maintain Integrated Management System and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Operational support to sales and bids activities.
- Provide managerial and technical direction to the project teams where IKM Testing operate.
- Responsible for the management of all equipment, operational personnel, yard and maintenance staff.
- To ensure that the projects teams conduct engineering to a high level of professionalism.
- Responsible for ensuring that Project Managers manage all aspects of the contracts under their responsibility, including strong financial control.
- Responsible for monitoring that adequate resources and management system procedures are in place to ensure that the correct equipment and competent personnel are mobilized and demobilized on time, in a safe and efficient manner.
- To act as a liaison between the project team on location and the client or internal support services when required.
- When required, travel to client meetings, site visits, safety inspections, foreign facility visits etc.
Requirements:
- 8 years’ experience of Oil and Gas Industry with a relevant Engineering / Management qualification.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience gained within a project management capacity.
- Operationally experienced at a senior level within a service industry.
- Prior project experience and good management skills.
- Good team, leadership and organizational and speaker/presentation skills.
- Able to influence and mentor a talented team.
