Lead, manage, and motivate a team of housekeeping staff.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
Develop work schedules to ensure adequate coverage based on occupancy levels.
Recruit, train, and supervise housekeeping staff, ensuring they adhere to standards and procedures.
Implement and maintain high cleanliness and service standards.
Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with established standards.
Manage and control housekeeping supplies and inventory.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure an adequate stock of cleaning materials and amenities.
Assist in the development and management of the housekeeping budget.
Monitor expenses and work to achieve cost-effective housekeeping operations.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Address guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
Ensure housekeeping staff follows safety protocols and uses appropriate personal protective equipment.
Work closely with the front office, maintenance, and other relevant departments to coordinate daily operations.
Communicate effectively with staff, management, and other departments to ensure a smooth flow of information.
Participate in regular meetings to discuss operational matters.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years working experience in a similar field.
Candidates must possess at least Diploma or Professional Certificate in Hospitality or its equivalent.
Possess working experience in supervisory roles especially in housekeeping and preferably from the hotel industry.
Candidates must have strong interpersonal and supervisory skills.
Good in Microsoft Office and able to arrange shifts for the staff
Able to work on Public Holiday & weekends.
6 days work in a week.
