The Training & Competency Team is responsible for the competencies and due diligence monitoring of sales process and supervisory duties of our tied sales force. The Training & Competency (T&C) Team reports to the T&C functional head who reports to the Head of Distribution Talent Centre. The candidate reports to the T&C functional head.
He/she will be responsible in driving good practices and ensuring the sales force fulfil the required expectations, in accordance with the company/industry standards in following key areas:
a) Perform due diligence monitoring, activate needed service recovery, apply preventive measures in proper sales advisory, replacement of policies and supervisory duties which include:
- Conducting reviews on sales documentation and supervisory duties
- Preparing audit reports and management updates
- Applying safeguards, controls and appropriate corrective measures in upholding expected conduct
- Managing data and conduct trend analysis
b) Establish, review and update SOPs, frameworks, and policies accordingly with company, industry, and regulators developments.
c) Support in upholding sales advisory expectation by:
- Ensuring forms, handbooks, guides, checklists, system requirements and training materials are current and accurate
- Handling related enquiries
d) Prepare and conduct briefings, training to the sales force, as needed
e) Undertake projects and execute activities assigned to the team
Requirements:
- Minimally a Diploma in any field of study.
- At least 4-year experience in training and competence / compliance audit in Financial Services industry
- Knowledge and experience in life insurance sales processes
- Good knowledge of industry regulations and guidelines eg. FAA and LIA MUs & MCs would be an advantage
- Possess the relevant licensing examinations: CMFAS Module 5, 9, 9A, and Certificate in Health Insurance; or equivalents
- Professional qualification in AFC, AFP, ChFC, etc would be an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skill
