As a Principal Engineer in our Factory Integration team, you will be involve in driving projects for IT production systems for the Backend production sites. You should have experience in designing IT solutions in semiconductor assembly and test and provide technical consultation in IT applications.

In your new role you will:

• Understand business goals, strategy & planning in the area of Enterprise-to-Manufacturing (vertical) and Supply Chain (horizontal) integration, and support building & integrating information systems to meet the company’s business needs
• Drive towards an optimized FI ADI E2M solution portfolio via standardization and usage of target solutions with the goal to limit / eliminate redundancies in close collaboration with other FI architects and FI / IT experts pursuing the goal of a highly resilient, scalable and flexible solution architecture which is fully compliant with Factory Integration’s technical principles
• Provide supervision, guidance and support to development teams
• Continually research current and emerging technologies, and propose/drive changes where needed
• Support FI ADI E2M demand and project approval and execution by assessing and rating architectural compliance, consulting, and driving E2M solutions towards high(est) technical fitness and low/no technical debt
• Contribute to corporate FI projects (oneSAP, Cypress PMI, GPN improvement) with focus on Enterprise-toManufacturing (vertical) integration and Supply Chain (horizontal) integration

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in software architecture management, requirement engineering, solution design, and semiconductor manufacturing process control is preferred
• Proven experience in leading teams and identifiying suitable technical experts in order to achieve assigned jobs
• Experience in semiconductor or electronic manufacturing industry is preferred
• A medium to high level of analytical thinking, with the ability to analyze complex problems by actively involving the support of an expert network and covering own area of responsibility
• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with cross functional global teams and senior stakeholders

In your new role you will:

• Create, modify and prioritize product demand forecasts, taking into account existing customer orders, as well as the sales and product marketing inputs
• Plan and maintain inventory targets on the basis of stock range objectives agreed within the organization. Own and manage (semi-)finished goods inventory proactively
• Optimize delivery performance and related customer satisfaction, including improvement of deviations from the requested customer dates and quantities
• Monitor delivery commitments of the global production locations(frontend and backend) for the assigned product portfolio
• Work out solutions with interdisciplinary teams, e.g. Development, Product Marketing, Product Management, Quality Management, and Frontend-/Backend manufacturing departments.
• Develop ramp-up scenarios, consider them carefully in the planning process, and monitor their execution.
• Execute ramp-up/-down plans and coordinate planned product changes in alignment with ramp-up management
• Contribute to reach production milestones in a timely manner, and ensure Infineon’s ability to deliver to our customers.
• Act on behalf of Supply Chain in product change projects. DefineSupply Chain related activities as part of the project requirements. Align the implementation of product changes with various stakeholders.
• Manage supply chain-related special topics such as preproduction, production relocation, and special customer programs
• Customize existing-, and/or design and implement new reports and dashboards

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in engineering, informatics, business administration, or comparable
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, ideally in the semiconductor industry
• An affinity for IT systems, experience with data analysis/data crunching, and good visualization skills; knowledge of JDA (BlueYonder) or SAP based planning systems is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills, the ability to solve complex topics, the flexibility to adapt to new situations and the motivation to go the extra mile
• Team spirit, a creative and respectful way of working with others
• Possess excellent communication skills. English is a must, German is an advantage

In your new role you will:

• Creation, modification and prioritization of sales and marketing plans, taking into account existing orders for the next 6 months and in consultation with the Business Demand Planner
• Implementation of allocation decisions in the case of production bottlenecks on the various production lines. This includes coordinating with Customer Logistics (CLM), the Capacity Alignment Planner and Product Marketing.
• Involvement in solving the logistics aspects within task forces for product and production problems
• Participation in projects related to supply chain processes & tools, and change management.
• Monitoring of delivery commitments of the global production locations (front and backend) for the respectively assigned product range. This is performed independently and autonomously taking into account aspects such as available capacities, customer demand and inventory targets.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• 1- 3 years professional working experience in supply chain management.
• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Electrical /Electronic Engineering, Computing and relevant fields.
• Business focused with strong planning, coordination, analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, very well organized and able to think outside of the box.
• Knowledge in Tableau would be an added advantage.
