This Application Lead is responsible for providing technical leadership in food applications to support key strategies for growth in Asia Pacific.
Core Responsibilities:
- Product Innovation – Develop technical strategy and maintain high level of scientific discipline. Manage application projects that have significant business impact. Develop innovation pipeline.
- Technical Support – Provide in-depth technical solutions in ingredient, formulation, processing. Conduct seminar and technical training for go-to-market teams and customers.
- Capability Build & People Management – Develop capability roadmap. Lead and coach technical team.
- Technology – Keep up to date on information on food trends and technology.
Qualified candidates will have:
- Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology or science-related field.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in innovation / R&D food industry.
- At least 5 years’ experience working in food manufacturing environment.
- Good track records of successful product launches
- In-depth technical knowledge and hands-on skills
- Good people management skills
- Ability to travel within the region
