Duties & Responsibilities

• Provides guidance for all aspects of the kitchen’s day-to-day operations that precludes the management of food hygiene and safety, enforcing performance and quality standards, and monitoring to ensure attainment of these goals
• Controls and directs the food preparation process efficiently and professionally
• Creates meals using new or current culinary inventions or as the business prescribes
• Approves and polishes dishes before they are delivered and served to customers
• Produces quality menu that could change seasonally as the business requires
• Manage, train and educate kitchen workers to be par with the highest possible culinary standards
• Manages kitchen stocks and ensures minimal wastage
• Forecasts and assesses personnel requirements ensuring no shortage or excess of kitchen staff while keeping labor costs in control
• Procures, stores, and handles all food products and materials within the agreed-upon budget and maximizes gross profit to include the effective staff management and payroll expenses
• Ensures that base food preparations and mise en place are well organized for service, allowing smooth kitchen operations
• Maintains payroll, punctuality and attendance records
• Follows and strictly implements all food and sanitary rules as well as safety guidelines
• Keeps updated in the latest trends in culinary trends and kitchen processes and technologies
• Ascertains that the personnel follow the regulations on hygiene, stock rotation, dates, storages, refrigerator temperature control, pest control, reporting of malfunctioning equipment, reporting of notifiable illnesses, and reporting of absenteeism, whether due to illness or otherwise
• If and when necessary, keeps recipe files in excellent condition and up-to-date

Qualifications & Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts or Science, Business, or relevant fields
• At least 5 years of experience as a chef
• Completed the WSQ Basic Food Hygiene Course – Food Safety Course Levels 1 and 2
• Proven ability of kitchen management
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Tenacious in picking up concepts and possesses strong logical and analytical problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of computer software such as POS, restaurant management system, and Microsoft Office

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Welcomes café guests in the warmest possible manner, responds to customer queries and concerns
• Encourages consumers to drink coffee and/or other beverages by educating them on the features and specifics of types and characteristics
• If needed, grinds and brew coffee and serving them at the best presentation to make the drinking experience most rewarding
• Informs them about specials or new items, answering questions and accepting orders
• Ensures that a beverage menu is available for customers and updated as necessary
• Follows established formulas and preparation procedures to ensure consistency in the quality of coffee, tea and other beverages
• Attracts new consumers and defines new and extended services and products to generate more income
• Maintains coffee bar inventory by refilling coffee bean supplies, stocking coffee inventory, keeping volume enough for expected orders for each day
• Provides pastries and cookies as options for customers to go with their preferred coffee and beverage
• Follows operating instructions, troubleshoots malfunctions, does preventive maintenance, keep bar equipment working, and calls for repairs during malfunctions if needed
• Continuously expands knowledge in hot and cold beverages as wealth as health and safety standards
• Works as part of a fun, high-energy team
• Adheres to all food safety and health regulations and quality controls
• Studies, analyses, and redesigns procedures as well as makes improvements
• Maintains and makes recommendations to enhances the coffee bar’s look and appearance if needed
• Participates in educational opportunities, reads coffee materials, retail trade and food service magazines
• Networks with other baristas in the industry to keep job knowledge up-to-date

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Restaurant Management, Business, or relevant fields
• Two (2) to three (3) years of experience as a barista
• Completed the WSQ Basic Food Hygiene Course – Food Safety Course Levels 1 and 2
• Strong interpersonal skills and enjoys interacting with customers
• Sound and strong understanding of optimising cafe operations and key indicators of success
• Possesses strong logical and analytical problem-solving skills
• Able to grasp business requirements and processes
• Working knowledge of POS software and systems and Microsoft Office
• Meticulous, good organizational and operations skills
• Good communication and listening skills

Responsibilities

• Provide quality Management and Administrative support
• Oversee an efficient and effective day to day operations of the branch or outlet
• Coach and develop colleagues to ensure standards are being maintained
• Assist in the development strategy plans
• Assist Managers complete daily tasks (implementing new policies)
• Understand each department's daily processes and goals
• Participate in company's strategic planning
• Assist Manager in evaluating performance (writing reports and data)
• Monitor and manage customer complaints, ensure satisfaction and administer efficient follow up for same to receive feedback
• Implement and Improve customers retention measures
• Attract customers by answering product and service questions
• Ensuring a clean and safe working environment

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in any field
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Customer-Oriented or Passionate about serving customers
• Knowledge or experience in management or relevant similar field is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Recommend hairstyle, haircuts according to customers' face shapes and their preference
• Handle customers' needs with the best of abilities to design and create
• Wash, blow, cut, trimming, treatment, color, rebonding, head spa, bleaching
• Study the condition of hair e.g. oily hair or dry scalp etc.
• Shave and shape beards and mustaches
• Perform shampoo, rinse, condition and dry hair processes
• Operate salon equipment
• Demonstrate and sell hair care products and cosmetics

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Possess professional skills in hairstyling
• Possess hairstyling certifications backed by accredited schools
• Relevant experience in the beauty industry
• Knowledgeable in the different hair types
• Can withstand long periods of standing

• Responsible for the business performance of all outlets
• Analyze restaurant sales and profitability
• Responsible for developing and maintaining high standards relating to customer service, product quality and cleanliness
• Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of all outlets
• Ensure all operations are in accordance with company’s SOPs and safety and health standards
• To forecast the manpower needs and oversee the manpower deployment to ensure smooth outlet operations
• Serve as leadership role model to supervise and motivate outlet staff
• Manage and resolve staff grievances and disciplinary matters
• Oversee outlet and equipment maintenance
• Responsible for setting up of new outlets and other adhoc projects
