Primary Function of Position:

The Manager, Asia FSO (FP&A, Sales Operations) closely work with Asia FSO teams to support the business in the fastest growing market at Intuitive. FP&A function includes China manufacturing planning and analysis with the mission to drive operational efficiency. This position supports Sr. VP & President Asia Pacific and other regional commercial leaders for financial planning, forecasting, analyzing the business from entire Asia region standpoint with deep understanding of each market’s dynamics and is capable of providing valuable insights for their decision makings.

Roles and Responsibilities

Primary Function of Position:

Reporting to the Senior Vice President and President of Asia, the Sr Director of Regional Marketing, Market Access and Custom Analytics (MACA), will lead teams that provide consultative leadership to the Asia direct county sales and marketing teams to include Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan and India. As a member of the Asia Region Operations Leadership Team (AROLT), the successful candidate will develop and implement a vision and set marketing and customer data strategies that lead to continued growth, market development and profitability of the company.

Marketing Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop regional marketing and customer data consulting teams

Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:

• 20+ years of well-rounded marketing, sales and commercial management experience in positions of increasing responsibility, with a focus on developing new markets, launching disruptive technologies / products requiring a paradigm shift, and expanding penetration in existing markets.
• Ideally, experienced in leading marketing and digital/data functions in Asia
• Experience in healthcare information technology strategies, healthcare data consulting and leading surgeon practice and/or hospital service line business development teams.

This involves becoming an expert in ISI commercial operations, sales processes, use of surgical robotics and building high-performing teams that establish mutually beneficial distributor relationships. The position requires a number of capabilities including leadership competencies, clinical competencies, and a broad network within the surgical space, with commercial acumen. She/He is expected to provide an extraordinary degree of communication, collaboration and information gathering while recommending solutions to Distributor Principals and ISI Leadership team.

Essential Job Duties

• Conduct proper due diligence on the current distributor and provide an executive summary.
• Teach distributor all aspects of clinical business, procedures and capital sales process.
• Assist distributor in developing their business plans, including quarterly system and procedure targets to achieve or exceed their goals.

Primary Function:

The individual will act as a bridge and force multiplier amongst Asia country product portfolio marketers, Corporate Portfolio Marketing and HQ Multiport/Single port BU (business unit) product management teams for management and marketing of systems, instruments, and accessories within Multi Port and Single Port robotic platforms. This role will have 30% upstream (working with BU Product Management and Corporate Portfolio Marketing) and 70% downstream (working with local markets’ Product Marketing teams, Asia Marketing Operations and Asia Commercial Operations) responsibilities. 

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Support creation and alignment of product and marketing visions with sales and marketing stakeholders to launch advanced technology technologies and accelerate their adoption.
• Collaborate with peers in Asia regional product, clinical, hospital and digital product portfolio leaders to ensure coherent product visions and marketing strategies/tactics for the Asian countries 
• Collaborate with local markets and corporate partners to build country-specific Product Launch Book plans for major platform products in Asia. Primary Function of the Position:

The Customer Trainer will report directly to the Training Manager for their region.  This training professional will deliver da Vinci® System technology training and facilitate surgeon-led training for surgeons, first assistants, and OR staff from a variety of surgical specialties including urology, gynecology, general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery.  The Customer Trainer will be actively involved in the continuous improvement of training programs and provide support for customer training, engineering and training research initiatives.

• Conduct da Vinci® Surgical System training programs for surgical teams at designated training centers and remote centers
• Lead and support Specialized training programs and Society events.  This includes supporting the needs of the surgeon educators and course participants
