Your Main Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Collect EDI requirements from business and advise them during the requirement phase
- Provide expertise during the scoping phase, review and validate EDI specifications
- Work with stakeholders (Internal teams and vendors) and drive EDI partner boarding and enhancements, closely monitor the progress.
- Timely status update on on-boarding/enhancement progress to business team.
- Participate in testing phase and assist business during user acceptance tests
- Take the lead on critical incidents and coordinate the investigations
- Monitor the performance of the system and lead, action plans when it needs to be improved
To be successful in this role, you will need strong communication skills (written and oral), excellent ability to understand business requirements and translating it to IT solution. You should build an effective working relationship with various stakeholders such as EDI vendors, business users as well as customers.
Minimum requirements:
- A Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or related discipline from a reputable education institute.
- With around 5 to 7 years of experience in supporting time-critical EDI applications, preferably in the shipping or logistics domain
- Proven track record in managing multiple medium-to-complex IT projects with business users and internal IT team working together collectively to deliver results.
- Clear understanding EDI formats like EDIFACT, ANSI/X12 and able to translate the implementation guide to logical specifications.
