The Position

We are currently seeking an Instrument Designer who will check in database and prepare / update Electrical and Instrument Autocad drawings. This role is a 6-month contract and will be based at the yard office in Tuas.

You are responsible for

• Perform pre- and detailed engineering for Instrument & control systems.
• Prepare I&C documentation including: philosophies, specifications, datasheets, technical requisitions etc.
• Provide input to instrument drawings, including:, block diagrams, loop diagrams and termination diagrams etc.
• Ensure design is in accordance with regulatory, class, client, and corporate requirements.
• Develop material take-off and cost input for instrument discipline.
• Provide input and manage instrument databases, including cable schedules, I/O Lists, Instrument Index and Instrument equipment list.
• To assist the principal engineer in the compilation of planning, co-ordination, and execution of the groups work activities.
• Ensure project deliverables are generated using the company’s systems/tools in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
• Liaise with other disciplines on design, construction, and commissioning issues.
• Implement the company change management process, as required, via the company’s procedures.
• Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, design reviews and other relevant safety reviews.
• Coordinate and manage assigned scopes for instrument, control & safety systems and F&G system packaged equipment under the direction of a principal or senior engineer.
• Ensure understanding, acceptance, and visible commitment to Health & Safety / regulatory standards.
• Undertake inter-discipline tasks/assignments for the Electrical & Telecoms disciplines under the direction of the assigned principal engineer or senior engineer.

Education And Experience

• Bachelor of Engineering or Science degree in Engineering or equivalent

Job Title: Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end implementation of Downstream Capex Projects, ensuring successful delivery throughout their entire lifecycle. This role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of Downstream Capex Projects, from front end development to detailed design, construction, and commissioning.
• Employ the Shell Project Management Framework (PMF) and Opportunity Delivery Manual (ODM) to ensure projects are completed on schedule, on budget, and with an impeccable safety record.
• Provide regular project updates on cost and timeline performance, emerging risks, and mitigation measures.

The Driller is responsible for the deployment and guidance of the rig crew and the use of the rig equipment, in accordance with the client's Rig Management System (RMS) so as to safely and efficiently conduct the Operator’s drilling program.

Responsibilities

• To demonstrate and promote safety leadership and to ensure that the crew works in the safest possible manner
• To lead and direct the crew in fulfilling their designated duties
• To plan and conduct the client's rig floor and related activities so as to meet the highest applicable standard of international oilfield practice
• To monitor and adjust the drilling parameters and take those necessary actions so as to optimize the drilling process and safeguard the integrity of the well
• To work constructively with the Operator’s representative and with third-party service companies so as to contribute to collaborative working relationships at the rig site

Safety

Operations

Recording & Reporting

The Driller is responsible for keeping accurate and complete records as required and detailed in the RMS. These include:

• Keep accurate BHA Worksheet records of the drill string including details of equipment run in-hole
• Accurately complete the IADC tour sheet
• Keep records of Toolbox Safety Talks
• Ensure that the rig crew conduct and record their assigned tasks in the rig Planned Maintenance System (PMS)
• Complete records of any Incident, Injury, Illness or Near Miss involving rig crew members
• Keep records and charts of BOP pressure tests and of function tests
• Provide recommendations to the Rig Manager for improved procedures
• Report any unforeseen or unusual events to the Rig Manager or Operator’s representative as appropriate

Personnel & Communication

The Senior Rig Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and field repair of all machinery and mechanical equipment on the rig, logistics equipment, and camp in accordance with the client's Rig Management System (RMS).

• To ensure that all operation of machinery and mechanical equipment is carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with the manufacturers’ specifications
• To maintain all machinery and mechanical equipment on the rig and camp in accordance with planned maintenance system and to manufacturers’ specifications
• To carry out unscheduled repairs to machinery and mechanical equipment at the rig site and camp
• To liaise with the Rig Manager, Driller, and Electrician to schedule major overhauls of rig equipment
• To ensure the availability of adequate spare parts for mechanical equipment through the inventory system, both for routine maintenance and to cover unscheduled maintenance or replacements
• To ensure that all fuels, lubricants, gases, paints and any hazardous materials are properly stored and handled at rig site and campsite

Responsibilities

• Supervise the dismantling, packaging and preparation of mechanical equipment for rig moves, including re-assembly at new locations
• Establish a culture of continuous improvement in operations and demonstrate results in this regard. Work with the other members of the rig crew to develop improved practices which will positively impact on rig performance
• Regularly inspect and maintain the certification of all handling and lifting equipment at rig site
• Manage, in conjunction with the Warehouseman, the inventory of spares and replacement parts for mechanical equipment and initiate material requests and material transfers as required
• Conduct routine maintenance and scheduled overhauls of rig prime movers, and make recommendations for improved practices
• Prepare the rig and camp equipment for stacking out, when required, in accordance with the provisions of the RMS and contribute to preparation of the stack-out report
• Make provisions for utilities (air, water, fuel, etc.) to meet third party service companies’ requirements at rig site and provide emergency repairs to their equipment where possible
• Provide on-the-job training for the Welder and Mechanical Helpers
