Duties & Responsibilities:

• Analyze and maintain plating chemicals within specified process parameters.
• Ensure all chemicals used in plating processes meet required specifications.
• Conduct product testing according to specified standards and record results.
• Manage laboratory inventory and ensure calibration of equipment.

Qualification, Work Experience & Skills:

• Minimum qualification of Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Chemical) or Engineering (Material Science).
• Ability to pass an annual eye examination including a color blindness test.

This position requires proficiency in chemical analysis and adherence to strict quality control measures within a plating environment. The role involves maintaining chemical parameters, conducting testing, and ensuring accurate record-keeping to uphold product quality standards.

• Conduct in-house testing, including but not limited to Bulk Density, Insolubility Index, Flavor, Odor, and Color.
• Aid in preparing trial samples for Research and Development purposes.
• Support in the preparation of trial samples and reference samples for raw materials.
• Assist in collecting raw material samples for trial preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness in the laboratory consistently.
• Ensure adherence to 5S principles at all times.
• Organize and manage sample disposal procedures.
• Keep lab inventory records updated.
• Prepare laboratory reports for Management approval prior to production.
• Assist in investigating complaints related to physical-chemical issues.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Superiors or Management.
