Responsibilities:
Oversee construction projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to facilitate smooth project execution and resolve technical issues.
Conduct regular on-site inspections to monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.
Review project plans, drawings, and specifications, providing technical guidance and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Coordinate construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors, fostering effective communication and teamwork.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and site records.
Identify and mitigate potential project risks, implementing appropriate measures to ensure project success.
Provide technical support to junior engineers and construction personnel.
Requirements:
Minimum diploma or Nitec qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in construction site engineering.
Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
