Manage the Technical Service function to ensure that the local organisation receives the required technical service to ensure projects are carried out according to specification and customer satisfaction and that Jotun is a preferred supplier in the market. This position will be based in Tuas, Singapore and reporting to General Sales Manager – Marine & Protective.
Responsibilities:
- Build and develop a competent, organised and close-knit technical service team with the potential to work across segments.
- Develop and monitor the application of operating systems, including policies, procedures, and operating structure to ensure Jotun’s quality standard is met.
- Develop the Technical Service business plans and department’s operations and budget development which in line with Performance Coatings' strategy.
- Provide detailed reports to management on the organisation/utilisation and efficiency of the team.
- Build up and enhance relationship with key customers.
- Ensure company policies and new technical information is properly informed to the organisation.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Technical Service Management.
- At least 3 years of people management experience.
- Proficient in verbal and written English.
- You have strong communication skill and a team player.
