The Role
As Head of Age Assurance , you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction, operational success, and market leadership of our age assurance and verification product. This is a high-impact role requiring an entrepreneurial mindset, deep understanding of AI-driven technology, and a passion for creating safe and secure digital ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute a vision and strategy for the product, ensuring alignment with the company’s global goals and regional market needs.
- Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities across sectors such as gaming, social media, and e-commerce, emphasizing regulatory compliance, privacy and trust.
- Establish Singapore as a regional hub, managing operations, building a local team, and driving business development.
Product Innovation and Development
- Oversee the development of cutting-edge AI-driven solutions for age assurance and facial age estimation, ensuring they meet industry-leading standards of accuracy, fairness and privacy.
- Work closely with R&D, engineering, and product teams to refine features and stay ahead of market trends.
- Advocate for customer-driven innovation, bringing insights from users back into the product roadmap.
Market Development and Partnerships
- Build relationships with regulators, industry leaders, and technology partners to establish trust and promote adoption of the product.
- Develop partnerships with gaming platforms, social media companies, financial institutions, and e-commerce providers requiring robust age verification.
- Lead go-to-market strategies to expand adoption in APAC and beyond, ensuring the product is positioned as a market leader.
Operational Excellence
- Set up and manage local operations in Singapore and other remote employee locations, ensuring cross-functional collaboration and alignment with global teams.
- Monitor key performance metrics (e.g., market penetration, customer satisfaction, retention rates) and optimize operational efficiency.
- Manage the regional P&L, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
Regulatory and Ethical Compliance
- Ensure the product adheres to global and local data protection regulations, including PDPA, GDPR, and similar standards.
- Advocate for ethical AI usage, promoting transparency and accountability in facial recognition and age estimation technologies.
- Engage with policymakers and industry bodies to influence standards and best practices.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team across functions including sales, marketing, product, and operations.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability to achieve ambitious goals.
QualificationsExperience
- 10+ years in senior leadership roles, preferably in the tech, SaaS, AI, or biometric technology industries.
- Proven success in scaling innovative products, with experience in customer acquisition, market expansion, and operational excellence.
- Strong familiarity with regulatory environments for data privacy and age verification.
- Experience in global markets, with a track record of building partnerships and navigating cultural nuances.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
