About the role:

A. Development of Technology Knowledge and Commercial Support

• Provide technical support as needed.

B. Feasibility

• Offer technical assistance for project feasibility evaluations.

C. Bidding Phase/Commercial Proposal Development

• Prepare lists of deliverables and develop sketches for studies.
• Estimate material quantities (BOQs) and weights (MTOs).

D. Project Execution (Progress and Completion)

• Execute assigned tasks related to the production of drawings and quantity assessments in line with project requirements and milestones.
• Develop sketches for studies and pre-designs of civil and structural works, focusing on cost efficiency, simplicity in fabrication, and safety.
• Create detailed BOQs for civil works and MTOs for steel structures.
• Conduct quality checks on all discipline project deliverables, including those produced by subcontractors.
• Coordinate drafting activities performed internally and externally.
• Maintain and update project documentation lists.

E. Construction and Start-Up

• Provide field engineering support on-site.

requirements. Tasks include:

A-Development Technology know how and Commercial support

B-Feasibility

▪ Analyse and understand Tender technical requirements for electrical systems

▪ Take part in electrical system design review

▪ Identify technical queries, deviations and alternatives to be submitted

▪ Implement bidding methodologies, design criteria and guidelines

▪ Define and issue Request for quotation for electrical materials not estimated in house

▪ Prepare material quantities and weights (MTOs) for estimation

▪ Prepare bill of quantities (BOQ) for erection works cost estimation

D-Project Execution (Job progress and completion)

▪ Review Client technical documentation and requirements

▪ Take part in definition of electrical system plant design requirements

▪ Prepare technical documentation (specifications, data sheets, inspection data sheets) for electrical bulk materials

▪ Check and review technical documentation according to Project and client procedures

▪ Prepare Purchase Requisitions and bids technical evaluation for electrical bulk materials

▪ Perform check and review of Vendor technical documentation for electrical bulk materials

▪ Develop electrical system plant design (cable routings, grounding, lighting and tracing layouts) and substations

arrangements in 2D or 3D

▪ Perform power cables sizing

▪ Take part in definition of typical installation details and bulk materials selection

▪ Prepare electrical materials take off (MTOs)

▪ Prepare bill of quantities for electrical system installation

▪ Participate to 3D Modelling plant review

E-Construction and start up

▪ Support Construction for electrical system installation works and bulk materials management

▪ Assist, when necessary, engineering adjustment and define modification

▪ Review as built the technical documentation.

- Design, execute, or review piping and layout studies, including:3D modeling.
- Review of 3D models with other disciplines and issuing clash check reports.
- Preparation of construction or design drawings (2D or extracted from 3D) for piping networks, including overall plot plans, equipment layouts, piping general arrangements, piping isometrics, and piping supports.
- Development of bills of materials or material take-offs (MTOs).
- Extraction of bills of materials and related information from 3D CAD models.
- Organize the team’s workflow and oversee resource mobilization planning.
- Coordinate the team’s work with piping and layout engineers involved in the project.
- Verify input data and review all documents and outputs generated by the team.
- Continuously monitor project assumptions underlying team activities and notify the Piping and Layout Lead of any anomalies.
- Supervise document updates following feedback from inter-discipline checks or external reviews (e.g., client, yards, third parties).
- Contribute to department improvements by sharing lessons learned during the project.
E - Construction and Start-Up

-Oversee material management on-site.
-Provide engineering support during the construction phase.
