About the role:

• Ensure provision of the Act and Regulations are complied with.
• Promote safe conduct of work in the yard.
• Liaise with WSHO or Safety Coordinator on the matter with regards to safety, health and welfare of people working in the yard.
• Conduct Safety Induction Programme.
• Implement all safety rules and regulations.
• Ensure that appropriate personal protective equipment is used by the employees, contractors' workers and visitors.
• Conduct inspection tours at worksite. Check and enforce that only employees and workers with proper pass are working at site. He shall report any unsafe conditions, equipment and housekeeping.
• Implement DM self-regulated disciplinary procedures, demerit point system and DM’s security system.
• Apply permit to work system as required by the procedures and regulations.
• Liaise with subcontractors’ safety supervisors with respect to safety of work undertaken by subcontractors.
• Ensure that all records of safety equipment are in order and properly maintained.
• Assist WSHO in the event of any incidents.
• Any other duties as directed by the HSE Manager or WSHO.

About you:

• Degree/Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health/Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in marine shipyard operations
• Good in writing business/technical reporting and presentation skills
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
• Good knowledge of Safety Regulations and Procedures
• Paramedic in Arm Forces and SCDF, Healthcare of Industrial background would be an added advantage

About the role:

• Responsible for leading and directing estimating resources and proposing costing strategies through the review and analysis of completed projects as well as global and regional cost data to effect such strategies towards the realization of company’s business objectives.
• Responsible for ensuring that the Estimation & Analysis (E&A) Team personnel are in possession of correct skills, are given appropriate training, are up-to-date on the latest methods, procedures and requirements, and are sufficiently resourced to accomplish their tasks effectively
• Responsible for the effective review of tender specifications by E&A team and to ensure full understanding of project preambles and methods of measurement for purpose of generating accurate costing for tenders in line with project requirements.
• Responsible for leading the post-mortem analysis of costs based on data collected from completed projects and to conduct lessons learned on tenders which were not successful.
• Lead E&A team in vendor and customer techno-commercial clarifications and negotiations together with Procurement/Subcontracting teams and Marketing team, respectively.

• Responsible for the review of project plans and specifications and ensure effective coordination between the E&A team and other departments to confirm complete scope.
• Responsible for identifying and evaluating all cost-related technical issues in projects.

About you:

• Experience in the fabrication of Oil & Gas process modules, structures and skids preferred.

• Planning, scheduling, and monitoring of QS’s work for respective projects to ensure that works are completed on time for submissions to Clients parallel to the Project Schedule both in re-measurements and change proposals.

About our client: Our client is a leading global provider of project management services for large-scale FPSO projects.

About the role: The MC Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all MC activities, which includes issuing completion procedures, managing the commissioning and MC database, and distributing ITRs to project execution teams. They ensure that suppliers comply with project completion requirements and collaborate with construction and QA/QC teams to facilitate the timely completion of A-ITRs according to commissioning needs. Additionally, the MC Coordinator reviews completed ITRs, manages punch lists, and compiles system MC Dossiers (MCD). Leading the MC team, they work closely with the project execution team to ensure the project completion process is carried out in a timely, accurate, sequential, and logical manner. The MC Coordinator reports to the Commissioning Manager.

Responsibilities:

Mechanical Completion Coordination:

• Oversee and manage the MC process, ensuring all mechanical and electrical systems are completed and tested per project specifications and system priorities.
• Define the MC philosophy, establish test package boundaries, and outline completion requirements for suppliers and contractors.
• Maintain and update the punch list register, coordinating with all stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient sign-off on punch items.
• Ensure that MCDs are completed and submitted to Commissioning for approval.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Populate and maintain the MC database.
• Prepare and submit a weekly MC status report to the project manager and stakeholders.

Stakeholder Management:

• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient completion of systems and subsystems.
• Conduct regular meetings with project teams to ensure alignment on commissioning priorities and MC requirements.

Problem Resolution:

• Troubleshoot issues, resolve disputes, and address bottlenecks that may impact MC progress.
• Provide onsite technical support, participate in tri-party walks, and ensure system readiness before handover to the commissioning team.

Safety Compliance:

• Ensure all MC activities adhere to safety regulations and requirements.
• Foster a safety culture and encourage continuous improvement within the team.
• Coordinate SIMOPS activities, ensuring that all high-risk tasks are properly assessed and communicated with relevant stakeholders.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by the Project Manager or Commissioning Manager.

About you:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in MC roles within the oil & gas, construction, or related industries.
