About the role:

• Oversee, manage, and supervise Company’s in-house and external Contractors for all mechanical maintenance works related to planning and execution of:

(a) daily maintenance [preventive, corrective, & breakdown maintenance],

(b) transition maintenance,

(c) turnaround maintenance and

(d) upgrading and improvement related to maintenance

• Ensure all mechanical maintenance activities are carried out in accordance to the Company’s
• HSEQ Standards & Maintenance Management System, statutory requirements and best industry practices.
• Establish, continually improve & execute Company’s maintenance management system in a safe, efficient, and effective way to achieve highest equipment reliability & availability
• objective.
• Update and maintain accurate maintenance records in order to provide good maintenance history for data analysis and troubleshooting purposes.
• Conduct root cause analysis to eliminate equipment/ system defect and take appropriate preventive/ corrective measures.
• Optimize & manage mechanical maintenance inventory level of critical & non-critical equipment spare parts.

About you:

• Degree in Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
• Familiar with Static and Rotating equipment
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Chemical Process Plant.

About our client: Our client is a leading international chemical manufacturing company.

About the role: The Production Engineer is responsible for improving the production technology of the upcoming plant.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and update all process control documents, procedures, and operation condition sheets in consultation with Production Superintendent and Day Supervisors from Operation.
• Identifying, analyzing, troubleshooting and improving process efficiency, equipment performance, product yield, capacity, quality, process material uses and utility consumption.
• Manage and improve process control system (DCS, SIS) and process data logging system.
• Support trial production and test run of new grades, new processes and equipment with the Production Technology Engineer.
• With a feasibility study, optimize plant operating efficiency, yield optimization, and energy conservation. Then, conduct the necessary field tests to verify the result.
• Provide technical support for Silo & Packaging process, including corrective measures for customer complaints in a technical viewpoint
• Lead process safety assessment (HAZOP, LOPA, etc.) and support HSE department technically.
• Submit reports’ findings and recommend modification, improvement, and potential investment projects such as debottlenecking, and environmental and cost reduction activities (i.e. reduction or more efficient usage of utilities).
• Coordinate with the technical section for process simulation, evaluation, investigation, performance & yield optimization
• Perform basic engineering design for all potential investment projects, prepare marked-up P&IDs and the required technical information for cost estimation purposes.
• Coordinate with the Technical department all plant improvement and modification activities working closely with the Technical Process engineer to prepare detailed
• engineering design, preparing specifications and requisitions for major equipment purchases, reviewing vendors’ documents, conduct hazard analysis, performance tests and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with the Technical department for regular updates of P&ID’s, and instrument list, and equipment list.
• Communicate with the global process improvement team to build synergy for further technical updates of new plant.

About you:

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, or engineering.
• Minimum five (5) years of relevant engineering/production work experience in chemical industry.
• Experience in designing or optimizing the process control system of chemical plants.
• Basic Engineering Skill with utilizing process and instrumentation diagram (P&ID).
• Knowledge of mass and heat balance calculations of chemical plants.
• Demonstrated skill to in leadership, developing others, and working in a team-based environment.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication, presentation, interpersonal, creative thinking, consulting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to prioritize work to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving/decision-making skills.
• Ability to multi-task

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree in chemical engineering
• Knowledge and experience in chemical process simulations (e.g. polymerization, other reaction processes, distillation, drying, and so on)
• Technical understanding of polymer extrusion process
• Knowledge of DCS programing and parameter tuning (PID control)
• Experience in lean manufacturing methods (e.g. 5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen, TPM)
• High proficiency in Excel including VBA, macros, or other related software engineering tools.
• Experience with leading Capex projects
• Experience with Management of Change (MOC), Process safety assessment (PHA, HAZOP, LOPA, FMEA, QRA, etc.), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

About our client: Our client is a leading global engineering and project management consultancy embarking on large-scale infrastructure and environmental projects.

*Please note that this role will be hired on a long-term contract to support our client's project.

*Work Location: West

*Salary range: $6,000 - $7,200

About the role:

· Lead the site supervision team on all the Civil and Structural and Building Construction works.

· Assist Chief Resident Engineer and Construction Manager on all Civil & Structural site inspection issues, contract related matters and support the identification of defects and supervise rectification works.

· Address and respond to all Contractor’s RFI’s and technical submittals. Other work scopes include but not limited to assess method statements/instrumentation reading, coordinate with other discipline engineers and liaise with design team/QP from HQ.

· Attend all site/project related meetings, discussions with clients and/or Contractors and to lead in technical and work progress discussions.

About you:

· Good graduate Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, preferably recognised by the PE Board, Singapore.

· Minimum 10 years of construction experience in supervising civil and structural works in water/used water treatment works.

· Registered with IES as Resident Engineer (Civil).

· A person with good communication and leadership skills.
