You will be responsible for the full spectrum of pharmacy operations and management. Your duties include supervising pharmacy technicians and pharmacy assistants in compounding and supply of sterile and non-sterile products in a safe and timely manner. You will be responsible for the quality assurance of the prepared product. You will review and implement standard operating procedures and will be responsible for the maintenance of the cleanroom facilities to ensure compliance with guidelines.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing care for patients under the gastroenterology service. You will be involved in verification of medication orders, supply and dispensing of medications as well as specialized counselling. You may also be involved in research, dispensing of cytotoxic drugs as well as other operational or clinical pharmacy services. In additional, you are expected to attend to enquiries from healthcare professionals and members of the public.
Requirements
• Degree in Pharmacy from recognized universities
• Registered Pharmacist with the Singapore Pharmacy Council (SPC)
• Able to work on weekends, public holidays (PHs) and rotating shifts
• Experience in working in a Pharmacy Lab will be preferred
