Job Vacancy: Piped Services BIM Modeller/Drafter cum Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Drawing Preparation: Create and maintain accurate 3D and 2D drawings for various projects, including Plumbing and Sanitary systems, Irrigation, Rainwater Harvesting, and Fire Protection.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Project Managers and Project Engineers to produce and deliver timely drawings for project submissions.
• Revision Management: Update and revise drawings based on feedback and comments promptly.
• Coordination: Participate in BIM coordination meetings to perform clash detection and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Detailed Drawings: Produce detailed and construction-ready drawings as required.

Pre-Requisites:

• Experience: Proven experience in the construction industry as a BIM Modeller and AutoCAD Drafter.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Water Pipe Systems.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Work Ethic: Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.

As a Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and management of plumbing and sanitary systems, as well as automatic irrigation systems, for a variety of projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects. Your expertise and knowledge in these areas will contribute to the efficient and sustainable use of water resources while adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Planning

• Develop comprehensive plumbing and sanitary system designs for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, taking into account water supply, distribution, drainage, and sewage disposal.
• Create efficient and sustainable automatic irrigation system designs for various landscapes and agricultural applications, ensuring proper water usage and conservation.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate plumbing and irrigation systems seamlessly into overall project designs.

Project Management:

• Oversee the execution of plumbing, sanitary, and automatic irrigation projects, from initial concept to completion.
• Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans to ensure successful and timely project delivery.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and on-site teams to monitor progress and address any challenges or changes that arise during project implementation.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure all plumbing, sanitary, and automatic irrigation systems comply with relevant building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals from local authorities for the installation and operation of systems.

Quality Control and Inspection:

• Conduct thorough inspections of plumbing and irrigation installations to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Implement corrective measures if any discrepancies or non-compliance issues are identified during inspections.

Research and Innovation:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in plumbing, sanitary, and automatic irrigation systems.

Client Communication:

• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and expectations for plumbing, sanitary, and automatic irrigation projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Civil Engineering/Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing and managing plumbing, sanitary, and automatic irrigation system projects.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing and sanitary codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Familiarity with irrigation system components, water distribution, and automated control systems.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and hydraulic modeling tools.
