Job Responsibilities
Oversee and manage day-to-day cargo operations, including cargo acceptance, documentation, build-up, breakdown, loading, unloading, delivery, etc.
Ensure adherence to operational and safety procedures and standards including corporate and other regulatory requirements
Ensure smooth and efficient handling of both import and export cargo
Handle any cargo irregularities and claims in accordance with the company’s standard procedures
Work closely with ground handling agents, monitor their performance and provide feedback
Prepare regular cargo reports and performance data for management review
Supervise and provide guidance to cargo staff, including cargo agents, handlers, and other personnel, to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in any discipline
At least 10 years of experience in the air cargo industry
Strong understanding of air cargo regulations, including safety and security requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong leadership and team management skills
Ability to identify and resolve issues related to cargo operations
