Kosmode Health is a deep-tech spin-off from Food Science & Technology Department, at National University of Singapore. - Overall Job Scope and responsibilities
The production/operations intern reports to the Factory Manager and is responsible for efficiency of manufacturing and overall factory management. Successful candidate will be exposed to factory management & operations; functional ingredients production and formulations; supply chain/logistics planning to ensure streamline production and timely fulfilment of order.
Specific tasks include:
Factory Production
- Manufacturing of functional ingredients, premixes and functional food.
- Factory equipment production process optimization
- Facility and equipment management, arranging for certification and licences
- Planning of production schedule through coordinating equipment, labour, and material availability.
- Support development of streamlined supply, manufacturing, ordering & delivering process to achieve maximum efficiency when fulfilling customers' orders.
- Troubleshooting of production issues to minimize delays in production.
- Upkeeping of production records for traceability
- Implement strict sanitization and cleaning procedures after each production while monitoring the production area hygiene and cleanliness
- Setting up cleaning and the maintenance schedule to ensure machinery/equipment are in working condition.
- Establish of any new processing Standard Operating Procedure
- Provide support and coordinate logistic activities of product goods
- Co-ordinate activities and stakeholders to ensure satisfactory delivery of contract services and in-house development projects.
Sales Operations
- Packing of products, arrangement of logistic for orders fulfilment.
- Support sales operation, logistic Participate in business development, marketing and customers’ acquisition activities.
- Operate business processes and systems (eg. HR, finance, admin) to ensure operational efficiency.
C. DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
Academic Qualifications and Availability
- 3rd or Final year diploma in Food Science & Technology/Chemical Engineering/Bioengineering/Chemistry/BioChemistry/or any other engineering discipline.
- Relevant internship/working experience can be considered.
Skills and Experience
- Good commandment of English.
