We are looking to hire a kindergarten teacher to teach Japanese language to preschool children. In addition, the teacher will be responsible for creating and maintaining a warm, inviting and safe classroom so children can feel ready and comfortable to learn. In terms of responsibilities: the teacher is responsible for creating weekly lesson plans, carrying out lessons according to feedback from the principal and recording feedback in reflection notes, creating a monthly newsletter to be sent to families, writing reports for 2 bi-annual Parent Teacher Meetings, establishing a sense of trust with families, helping with school events as required, undertaking adhoc tasks as directly by the principal, and following school procedures and protocols as mandated by ECDA and the school.
