· checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
· supervising contracted staff
· ensuring project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets and/or timescales
· liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, especially works manager and the overall project manager
· providing technical advice and solving problems on site
· preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork
· ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.
Job Requirement:
· Physically fit to work under outdoor conditions
· Able to work overtime and under pressure

Work experience in Marine construction (dredging)
Total work experience at least 5 years in civil engineering or related field
prefer with experience in dredging industry
Education qualification University in marine or civil engineering
Language proficiency: English
