The Social Media and Marketing part-timer will play a vital role in creating engaging content, managing social media platforms, and promoting our Parkour academy to a wider audience. We will working together on the big picture goal of introducing Parkour to the wider public in a positive and approachable light, so that people know who we are. You will be responsible for filming and photographing classes, updating social media pages, and generating fresh content ideas. The objectives is to gain hands-on experience in content creation and social media management within the fitness industry in Singapore. You will be using your current experience in videography, photography, and post-production editing into pushing our business further. Together, we will learn to analyze social media metrics and insights to optimize content performance. There will also be opportunity to collaborate with other team members to execute marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Week 1
Content Planning and Scheduling:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop a content calendar for the upcoming month, schedule filming dates and plan content themes for social media posts and videos. Meet and get to know the student community and the rest of the coaches and find out on the ground what their thoughts and needs are, so we can provide better marketing support. Start sharing some ideas within the team's group chat. Familiarize with the new workspace, editing software and equipment for efficient post-production work in the new work space.
Week 2
Filming and Editing:
Attend different coaches' and students' Parkour classes to film dynamic footage showcasing students' skills and progress. Capture high-quality photographs to supplement social media posts and website content - Begin editing video footage to create engaging short-form content for Instagram and YouTube
Week 3
Content Publication and Engagement:
Publish edited videos and photographs across social media platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, and the academy's website. Monitor engagement metrics and respond to comments and messages from followers. Experiment with different content formats and strategies to increase audience interaction and reach.
Week 4
Performance Analysis and Optimization: Review social media analytics to assess the performance of published content. Identify trends and insights to inform future content planning and strategy. Brainstorm new content ideas and initiatives to maintain audience. Keep track of social media calendar - see if all KPIs are met in a timely manner and see how well posts are doing. With newfound data, take them into consideration into the planning of next month's calendar.
