Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse and transportation operations
- Develop and implement warehouse and transportation operations performance goals (KPI) using quality management knowledge
- Ensuring inventory accuracy. Physical inventory count must tally with system inventory count
- Develop and implement operational policies, standards and procedures (SOPs) in regard to
- Inventory Quality Control including
- Temperature control
- Process for issuing/receiving stock
- Inventory First Expiry,First Out
- Placement of inventory to facilitate logistics operations
- Inventory accuracy
- Optimal level of inventory
- Maintenance of equipment (e.g. forklift, refrigeration in warehouse & other equipment)
- Vehicle cleanliness
- Vehicle maintenance including accessories
- Vehicle accidents
- Delivery processes for customers
- Goods Issuing from warehouse
- Goods Return from customers
- Goods Issuing to and return from Van Sales
- Goods Delivery timeframe
- Placement of goods upon delivery
- Inventory Quality Control including temperature control, placement of goods in vehicle
- Review, develop and implement solutions to improve current business processes through application of supply chain and business management principles (come up with ideas to improve current processes)
- Develop contingency/business continuity plans for risks associated wih process changes (e.g. when equipment breaks down / fire etc)
- Route planning with efficiency in mind
- Review, develop and implement solutions to improve current business processes
- Align resources management (manpower and asset) strategies with business strategies across different business activities
- Other ad-hoc duties as designed by the management
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least relevant Bachelor's Degree / Professional Degree.
- At least 3 years of working experiences in related field.
