Position and Duties
As a Manager for Sales & Marketing in Health & Daily Beauty (HDB) business, you will be managing and overseeing both Singapore and Malaysia market for all LG Household Brands.
You are responsible for managing the overall relationship with key accounts. This includes developing and executing marketing & sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities (this includes but is not limited to):
- To explore on new market opportunity by building network with distributors companies, chain stores, pharmacies, supermarkets, etc.
- To work closely with distributor to monitor on the brand activity and sales turnover for company household brands.
- To plan for marketing initiatives to promote the brand, to create awareness and to create household brand name not only limited to the trade market, also on the ecommerce business.
- Develop brand marketing plans and ensure the implementation of these plans are within the context of the agreed brand strategy and company’s goals.
- Initiate period brand, sales and marketing reviews and initiate recommendations and action to ensure that the brand goals are met.
- Monitor market and consumer trends, conduct analysis and make recommendations where appropriate.
- Ensure that the implementation of various marketing programs is running efficiently and effectively.
- Attend to all trade and consumer enquiries efficiently and appropriately.
- Monitor competitors’ activities closely and make recommendations and initiate appropriate actions where necessary.
- Other ad-hoc task as assigned.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum qualification in Marketing/Business Administration or any similar discipline
- Minimum of four years' experience in a fast moving and ever-changing consumer goods marketing environment. Preference will be given to those with brand in management and product development experience in FMCG companies
- Strong conceptual skills and understanding of marketing planning and brand management
- Strong analytical skills
- Customer focused and with a good team working
- Able to cover both Singapore and Malaysia Market
- Able to cover both Marketing and Sales
- As this position will need to work closely with HQ in Korea, knowledge of Korean (both written & spoken) is required for communication purposes
