Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities:

● Plan, organise, and manage the execution of projects to ensure timely delivery within the established schedule and approved budget.

● Oversee all project activities and coordinate interactions between project teams and external entities to align with project goals.

● Manage project finances, including responsibility for profit and loss (P&L), monthly financial forecasting, and end-of-month financial reporting.

● Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters for clients, government agencies, vendors, and other stakeholders.

● Collaborate closely with clients to manage project scope, schedules, deliverables, and budgets while maintaining strong client relationships.

Professional and Team Development:

● Recruit, assign, and monitor the progress of project team members, ensuring efficient utilisation of resources and optimal team performance.

● Conduct daily scrum meetings to keep track of project progress and assist the team in resolving any challenges.

● Provide both ad hoc and regular management reports on project status to upper management.

● Present project updates and strategic insights during regular Project Progress meetings.

Qualifications:

● Proven experience in project management, preferably in IT or related fields.

● Strong understanding of project management principles and best practices.

● Expertise in financial management, including P&L, budgeting, and financial forecasting.

● Excellent leadership skills with experience in managing diverse teams.

● Effective communication skills, with proficiency in English.

● Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain strong client relationships.

● Experience in Agile methodologies, particularly in conducting scrum meetings.

Key Responsibilities

● Frontline IT Support: Act as the initial point of contact for all IT-related inquiries, handling support requests through phone, email, and ticketing systems.

● Problem Identification and Resolution: Perform troubleshooting for a variety of IT issues, including:

○ Hardware: Laptops, PCs, mobile devices, printers, headsets, desk phones, and conference speakers (e.g., Jabra, Poly).

○ Software/Applications:

■ Security tools (e.g., Zscaler, CrowdStrike)

■ Windows OS (Windows 10/11) and Microsoft 365

■ Finance applications (e.g., SAP client)

■ Printer software (internal and remote setups)

■ Productivity tools (e.g., Thinkcell, S&P CIQ, Quantiwise)

■ Communication and web conferencing products (e.g., Teams, Zoom)

■ VMWare VDI environment

● Service Requests: Handle service requests, including:

○ Triage issues and escalate when necessary

○ Open and manage cases with external vendors, such as Microsoft Engineers

○ Ensure timely follow-up and updates to users, maintaining a response time SLA of 15 minutes

● User Account Management: Address account-related issues (e.g., login issues, password resets, password expiry) and ensure timely resolution.

● Software Maintenance: Maintain, update, and patch software to ensure applications remain functional and up-to-date.

● Documentation: Develop and update user manuals, instructional documents, and guidelines for end-users.

● IT Asset Management: Track, update, and report on IT assets for audit and budget purposes.

Skills and Requirements:

● Strong Communication Skills: Excellent spoken and written proficiency in English, with clear, customer-oriented communication.

● Customer-Focused Attitude: Demonstrates a service-oriented approach, with patience and attentiveness to user needs.

● Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of computer systems, basic networking, mobile devices, remote support tools, and web conferencing products.

● Experience: Proven experience in a help desk or technical support role, preferably in a finance industry environment.

● Sense of Urgency and Ownership: Proactively takes ownership of incoming requests, striving for first-time resolution and high user satisfaction.

● Adaptability: Willingness to work on a shift rotation and adapt to changing support needs.

IT Project Manager

As a Project Manager, you will be working in a Government Agency as a member of the project team, comprising the Business Analyst, Solution Architect (where applicable) and the Technical Services Consultant.

Your will be responsible for the overall success of a project by ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, meet business requirements and comply with IT governance framework, including security and resilience. In this role, you will work in a project team, in collaboration with Agency users.

As a Project Manager, at least 5 years of IT Project Management experience, and you need to have:

· Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information/Infocomm Technology, Computer or Electronics Engineering or related discipline

· Participated in full software or product development cycles, preferably using Agile Methodology with past development experience

· Strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem solving skills

· Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to pitch ideas and influence stakeholders

· Advantageous to have:

Ø Project Management (Agile) experience

Ø Project Management related certification such as CITPM, COMIT or PMI
