Job Summary
The Regional Sales Head plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth across south Asia, southeast Asia and middle east by developing and executing effective sales strategies. This position focuses on market expansion, establishing key partnerships with financial institutions, corporates, and suppliers, and ensuring the achievement of ambitious revenue growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research and Strategy Development.
- Research market trends and analyze competitor performance to develop effective sales strategies tailored to south Asia, southeast Asia and middle east.
- Identify opportunities to expand market presence and align strategies with organizational goals.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Leverage senior-level relationships within the ecosystem, including financial institutions, FinTechs, and corporates, to promote our business model and technology.
- Build and maintain trust with business partners to ensure long-term collaboration and mutual success.
Sales Leadership and Performance Management
- Work in line with KPIs and targets set out by executives, ensuring alignment with broader company objectives.
- Lead the sales team by setting clear goals and performance benchmarks while motivating them to exceed expectations.
- Monitor team performance, provide actionable feedback, and foster a high-performing sales culture.
Business Development
- Drive new business acquisition through proactive engagement and relationship building.
- Identify, qualify, and close new sales opportunities, expanding the pipeline and securing deals that align with company growth strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal teams, to ensure seamless execution of client deliverables. Compliance knowledge is a must, ensuring all business activities align with regulatory requirements.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10+ years in Business Development, Sales, or Relationship Management roles within sectors such as Trade Financing, Corporate/Investment Banking, B2B FinTechs, or Factoring.
- In-depth understanding of trade finance, supply chain financing, and associated products and services.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing sales teams, setting team targets, and driving performance improvement.
- Solid knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks in the financial and trade sectors.
- Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to manage deliverables across cross-functional teams.
- Established relationships with key stakeholders in the financial and trade ecosystem, including financial institutions, large corporates and suppliers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
