Role Overview

As a Product Manager, you will play a critical role in defining and executing the product strategy for GVRN. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build and enhance features that deliver tangible value to our Web3 clients, ensuring our product not only meets the current market demands but also anticipates future trends in the Web3 ecosystem.

• Define the product strategy and roadmap for GVRN, aligning product development with company goals and market needs.
• Lead the planning, execution, and launch of product features and enhancements.
• Work closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure successful product development cycles.
• Conduct thorough market and competitor research to identify opportunities for new features and improvements.
• Prioritise a seamless and intuitive UX, incorporating feedback from users to refine and reiterate upon the product.
• Serve as the main point of contact for all product-related discussions with internal teams,
• partners, and stakeholders.
• Utilise data analytics to make informed decisions, monitor product performance, and measure success against key metrics.

• At least 2-3 years of experience as a Product Manager or similar role, ideally within the Web3, FinTech, LegalTech sectors.
• Strong understanding of Web3 project lifecycles is preferred (early stage incorporation, fundraising, decentralisation).
• Experience with back-office automation is preferred.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and marketing teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

About the role:

As a member of the product team, you will be instrumental in keeping the ball rolling for your team. The ideal candidate has acute analytical skills and an in-depth understanding of free-to-play games. 

In this role, you will be responsible for helping to navigate a full free-to-play business model, and for discussing, advocating for, and helping determine which strategic elements are needed for the titles to be an ongoing success.

As a member of our team, you will work collaboratively with software engineers, artists and cross-functional teams to build, launch, and analyse our products.

What You Can Expect To Work On

• Defining product requirements and goals: Product managers work closely with stakeholders to define the requirements and goals for the video game. This includes identifying the target audience, determining the features and functionality of the game, and setting project timelines.
• Managing the product roadmap: Product managers are responsible for creating and managing the product roadmap. This includes prioritising features and functionality, setting release dates, and ensuring that the development team is on track to meet project deadlines.
• Conducting market research and competitor analysis: Product managers need to have a thorough understanding of the gaming industry and mobile game development. They conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay up-to-date with industry trends and ensure that their product is competitive in the market.
• Identifying and analysing target users: Product managers work closely with the development team to identify and analyse the target users for the video game. This includes understanding their needs, behaviours, and preferences, and designing the game to meet their expectations.
• Collaborating with the development team to ensure timely delivery: Product managers work closely with the development team to ensure that the mobile game is delivered on time and within budget. They collaborate with developers, designers, and QA testers to ensure that the game meets the requirements and goals set forth in the product roadmap.
• Monitoring user feedback and making necessary adjustments to improve user experience: Product managers monitor user feedback to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments to improve the user experience. This includes fixing bugs, adding new features, and optimising the game for different devices.

• Experience. At least 5 years of experience working in a product facing environment with a special focus on video games or mobile games.
• Strong leadership and communication skills: Product managers need to be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders, developers, and other team members. They should be able to lead and motivate the team to achieve project goals.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills: Product managers should be able to analyse data and make informed decisions. They should be able to identify problems and find creative solutions to overcome them.
• Thorough understanding of the gaming industry and mobile game development: Product managers should have a deep understanding of the gaming industry and mobile game development. They should be familiar with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

The Role

The Head of Product at Kasagi Labo is responsible for being the visionary in a cross-functional team (Engineering, Growth, Marketing) and applying the vision. While providing leadership to a global team of product talents, you will oversee all facets of the product scope to ensure that the product(s) are aligned with the company’s short and long-term business goals.

You will help define product roadmap milestones and drive new product initiatives to acquire users and drive retention worldwide across our suite of products. A successful Head of Product must be able to maintain constant alignment with all other departments within a fast-paced environment to ensure efforts are directed efficiently.

What you can expect to work on

• Attract and groom product talents for Kasagi Labo: Exceptional product talents are rare, and we need to be able to attract them
• Experiment rapidly on hypotheses: Define and drive sprints in a minimal viable experimental format that would generate insight from the initial hypothesis prior to the sprints
• Align across departments: Ensure that all other functions of Kasagi Labo are aware of the roadmap and are able to collaboratively contribute to the product’s go-to-market and iterative development
• Level up the product talents in Kasagi Labo: Coach and cultivate a diverse team of product talents constantly to the next level
• User outreach and optimising user experiences: Deliver product(s) that keeps the business goals in mind while optimising for user experiences through product tools such as user interviews and user persona exploration 

What you need to succeed

• Relevant experience: Have 6+ years as a Product Manager or related role in a fast-paced iterative product environment
• Interest in Anime: Have demonstrable experience or interest in Anime and/or Anime related industries
• Communication: Have strong communication skills to align between both internal and external stakeholders
• Leadership: Have strong leadership skills to rally the team around you to deliver in a fast-paced environment
• Team player: Have a desire to take ownership of projects and work with a team that is highly driven to push them through
