We are looking for hardworking and experienced baker to support our kitchen team : preparation of a variety of bread and sandwiches.
Job description
- ingredients prep and baking, including handling of kitchen equipment.
- Baking and preparing, following recipes or instructions from head bakers or supervisor
- Able to handle and minimize wastage, including identifying spoilage of product.
-Manage and maintain quality standards and cleanliness.
-Monitoring ingredient stock and order placement.
-Able to make baguette, sourdough, ciabatta, focaccia, toast, croissant and other baking techniques.
- Able to communicate with customers and follow up on their orders.
Requirements
-Diploma or Certificate in Pastry & Baking , WSQ Basic Food and Hygiene certificate or similar is preferred.
-At least 1-2 years as baker or relevant experience.
-Able to work on weekends and public holidays.
-Willing to learn and accept feedback/criticism.
-Creative and Great attention to detail.
