About the role:
As a Financial Planning Associate on our Management Trainee Path, you will receive comprehensive training and hands-on experience in all aspects of financial planning, including budgeting, investment strategies, risk management, retirement planning, and client advisory. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our agency leaders, participate in cross-departmental projects, and gain exposure to strategic decision-making processes.
The goal is to prepare you for a future leadership position within the company, helping you transition into a managerial role within 18-24 months, depending on your progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquiring clients and providing ongoing service to build and maintain long-term, sustainable relationships.
- Assist in creating financial plans for individuals and businesses, considering their long-term goals, risk tolerance, and financial situation.
- Support clients with risk management, wealth accumulation, retirement and legacy planning.
- Conduct market research and stay up-to-date with the latest financial trends and regulatory changes.
- Attend training sessions, workshops, and leadership development programs to accelerate your career growth.
- Take on increasing responsibility, including managing client accounts and leading projects as you progress through your career.
Requirements:
- Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Residence Only.
- At least 21 years old (regulatory requirement).
- Full diploma of at least 2.5 years or 900 hours of coursework, GCSE ‘A’ Level certificate or a degree holder.
- Local polytechnic diploma or Bachelor Degree or higher.
- Required to take 4x CMFAS Papers: RES5, M9, M9A, Health Ins (HI) (Training will be provided)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ambitious and hard-working.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
