Requirement:

• A diploma or degree in hospitality or food and beverage management is generally required

• Proven supervisory or management experience is required
• Food and beverage experience is required
• Good customer service skills
• Good communication skills
• Financial planning and budgeting experience is an asset
• Time management skills are an asset

To assist and support the Operations Manager to lead and organize site Operations Team to ensure safety, daily routine, periodic schedule and manpower are available to meet contract standards and requirements.

• Work closely with the Operations Manager to lead and organise site operations.
• Regular visit and conduct inspection to company’s job sites to monitor standards of cleanliness, to establish and implement work quality and meet the evolving needs of clients.
• Attend meetings, respond to customer feedback for expeditious closure of feedback.
• Understand and build excellent relationships with stake holders, promoting good reputation of the company.
• Planning of work schedules and manpower deployment.
• To be involved in the appointment of Supervisors and Cleaners
• Provide training to new staff in relation to expected standards and quality of cleaning, health and safety requirements and handling of equipment and machinery.
• Report to HQ for any faulty cleaning equipment
• Attend to all emergency’s situation at any time promptly.
• And any other responsibility as assigned by your superiors and the Management from time to time.

Job Description

• To monitor the progress and quality of work being performed by workers.
• Ensure that works are executed within an acceptable standard of workmanship.
• Carry out building works inspections such as structural and Architectural works per BCA's QM/Conquas standard
• Ensure that safety, health and environmental rules and regulations, and practices among workers
• Control material wastes, downtime, rework, and wait time
• Coach and guide workers
• Have electrical project related experiences is a plus point

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Develop construction project schedule
• Deliver project on time, to budget and to other agreed success criteria within corporate guidelines including the client requirements.
• Manage and oversee the day-to-day construction management of the project and provide timely updates
• Respond swiftly to work delays, emergencies, and other problems
• Ensure compliance to all governmental and building regulations
• Make sure all staff, contractors and suppliers are very clear on the project needs, requirements and schedule
• Establish good communication and working relationships with client, consultants, government agencies, contractors, suppliers and staff.
• Manage project team, all site staff, site works, materials and equipment effectively and efficiently
• Investigate unsatisfactory productivity / performance and initiate measures to improve
• Identify possible risks to project and stakeholders, as well as create contingency plans to mitigate these risks
• Responsible for all inspection activities
• Monitor and supervise entire project team to ensure compliance of work
• Check and monitor project budget, as well as prepare for unforeseen costs
• Manage material at construction site to ensure zero wastage and no overstock of material
• Manage company assets and equipment rental to ensure optimal utilization and cost
• Manage manpower and overtime cost to ensure optimal cost benefit within or below budget
• Attend and/or chair meetings with clients, architects, engineers and workers
• Prepare regular progress reports for each project
• Ensure all changes to specifications, work scopes and drawings are properly documented
• Undertake accident investigation when remitted by the relevant designated competent person
• Any other ad-hoc projects and duties as required by the management

Requirements:

• Minimum experience of 3 years as a Construction Project Manager / Coordinator
• Candidate should possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Others or equivalent.
• Able to work flexibly and react to different situations and needs efficiently
• Able to lead a team and motivate team members
• Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrate high level of integrity, professionalism, and technical competency
• Critical part planning, strategic planning, timeline management, multi-tasking
• Very knowledgeable in project processes and procedures, Building regulations, Health & Safety legislation, environmental and best practices.
• Outgoing, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
• Languages: Proficient in English, Other Languages are good to have

Job Responsibilities:

• Developing, executing, and ensuring company SOPs are followed throughout assigned sites
• Building open and trusting relationship with clients to achieve long term partnership and contractual renewal
• Monitoring and upholding the cleaning and maintenance quality standards and operating procedures for all job sites and surpass the client’s expectations
• Oversee effective OJT training on equipment and skills surrounding latest implementations (robotics and health policies) to maintain high standards of works
• Managing overall staff motivation, discipline, development, and performance according to the organisational, human resource and government manpower policies
• Overseeing the assigned job sites according to manpower and site requirements to achieve profitability and cost-effectiveness
• Planning of manpower deployment at various sites to meet the contractual requirement of clients
