Key Responsibilities:
- Program Leadership: Lead the planning and execution of educational programs and workshops for students and educators, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Team Management: Mentor and guide junior staff, ensuring effective collaboration and professional growth within the team.
- Resource Development: Oversee the creation and refinement of educational resources in maker education, sustainability, digital literacy, and makerspace operations.
- Business Development: Identify growth opportunities, establish partnerships, and build long-term relationships with schools, educators, and community stakeholders.
- Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute strategic marketing plans, including social media campaigns, outreach initiatives, and promotional materials to enhance program visibility and participation.
- Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and fostering trust and satisfaction.
- Innovation: Propose and develop new program offerings and initiatives to address the evolving needs of educators and students.
- Event Oversight: Manage the logistics and execution of events, workshops, and training sessions, ensuring seamless delivery.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor program metrics, evaluate impact, and recommend enhancements for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- A diploma or degree in Education, STEM, Sustainability, Business, or a related field.
- Passionate about education, business development, or program management.
- Proven ability to facilitate educational programs for students and educators.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of mentoring junior staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Experience in marketing and business development, with a creative and strategic mindset.
- Knowledge or interest in maker education, digital literacy, and sustainability topics.
- Familiarity with makerspace tools, educational technologies, or related resources is a plus.
