Supply Chain Manager Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a global supply chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction while minimizing costs and ensuring alignment with international standards.
- Lead the supply chain team in executing best practices and monitoring performance through defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Strategize and oversee global and overseas supply chain operations, including resource optimization, profitability maximization, and KPI alignment to ensure high customer satisfaction levels.
- Plan, manage, and coordinate all sourcing and procurement activities to effectively meet evolving product demand across domestic and international markets.
- Collaborate with plant, warehouse, and logistics departments to streamline intercompany and overseas transfers while ensuring compliance with global trade regulations.
- Partner with the sales and export teams to design cost-effective and efficient distribution solutions for delivering finished goods to customers across international markets.
- Monitor and optimize inventory levels internally and at third-party logistics (3PL) warehouses globally to ensure proper rotation and maximize working capital.
- Work with global freight forwarders and transportation companies to negotiate and approve the best international routes and rates, ensuring favorable freight terms and agreements.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to enhance freight-in and freight consolidation practices for both domestic and overseas operations.
- Lead the integration and utilization of ERP systems (e.g., Planning Edge, Accellos) to optimize supply chain processes globally.
- Take a proactive role in supply chain development, including the implementation and optimization of Mirakl for seamless global warehouse management and operational control.
- Drive improvements in warehouse management systems, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment efficiency across local and overseas operations using advanced tools and methodologies.
- Serve as a key member of the operations team, regularly reporting on department KPIs with detailed analysis and proposing actionable countermeasures where necessary.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives to scale and adapt the global supply chain to meet current and future business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process automation and digital transformation in global supply chain management.
- Bring extensive experience in managing global and overseas supply chain operations, including international shipping, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with global vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure seamless international operations.
Experience:
- A minimum of 8–12 years of professional experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Proven expertise in managing global and overseas supply chain operations, including international shipping, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Planning Edge, or Accellos) and e-commerce platforms like Mirakl.
- Strong background in warehouse management, inventory control, and logistics optimization across domestic and international markets.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives in large-scale supply chain environments.
- Experience negotiating with global vendors, freight forwarders, and transportation providers to optimize costs and performance.
- Familiarity with industry best practices, global trade regulations, and compliance standards.
