• Prepare/Review spare parts list and equipment data inventory control and ensure critical spare availability
• Optimise spare parts and manage stock effectively by using CMMS TMQ-W.
• Ensure no down time due to unavailability of spare parts.
• Service used equipment’s and components and ensure ready to use all time.
• Analyse and improve equipment reliability of utilities & facilities to prevent recurrence with production group and contractors.
• Manage in-house contractors to execute maintenance timely and effectively.
• Develop and implement routine maintenance and inspection schedule for plant equipment’s and execute Preventive maintenance, Routine inspection and periodical inspection on Rotating and static equipment’s by co-ordinate with contractors at site.
• Manage annual shutdown maintenance related to facilities and management of actual site work, liaising with contractors and production group.
• Update long-term maintenance plan for facilities and utility equipment’s.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with EHS policies.
• Be familiar with the operations of the following equipment : Pumps, compressors, blowers, boilers, chillers, conveyors
• Experience in Plant & facilities in chemical plant.

Job description

Communicate with global EVAL process improvement team to build synergy for further technical updates of KAP EVAL plant.

• Develop, review, and update all process control documents, procedures and operation condition sheet in consultation with Production Superintendent and Day Supervisors from Operation.
• Identifying, analyzing, trouble shooting and improving process efficiency, equipment performance, product yield, capacity, quality, process material uses and utilities consumption.
• Manage and improve process control system (DCS, SIS) and process data logging system.
• Support trial production and test run of new grade, new process and equipment with Production Technology Engineer.
• Optimize plant operating efficiency, yield optimization and energy conservation with feasibility study, make the necessary field test to verify the result.
• Provide technical support for Silo & Packaging process, including corrective measure for customer complaint in technical viewpoint.
• Lead process safety assessment (HAZOP, LOPA, etc.) and support HSE department technically.
• Submit reports’ finding and recommend modification, improvement and potential investment projects such as debottlenecking, environmental and cost reduction activities (i.e. reduction or more efficient usage of utilities).

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, or engineering.
• Minimum five (5) years of relevant engineering/production work experience in chemical industry.
• Experience in designing or optimizing the process control system of chemical plants.
• Basic Engineering Skill with utilizing process and instrumentation diagram (P&ID).
• Experience in lean manufacturing methods (e.g. 5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen, TPM).
• High proficiency in Excel including VBA, macros, or other related software engineering tools.
• Experience with leading Capex projects.
• Experience with Management of Change (MOC), Process safety assessment (PHA, HAZOP, LOPA, FMEA, QRA, etc.), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
