Responsibilities
HR Responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
- Maintain day to day timesheet, employee attendance data, and process payroll, CPF submission on time
- Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
- Create and implement effective onboarding plans, Primary care plan, medical insurance, Security Bonds, Work injury compensation, Public Liability.
- Schedule and arrange employees to attend Safety course, General Trade, Confined space courses on time and update the details to our shipyard database.
- Apply work passes and prepare documents related to work passes.
- Day to Day need to liaise with shipyard HR and our customers for Seamless operations
- Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
- Assist in performance management processes
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
- Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
- Submit MOM survey on time
- Handle Workers dormitory related jobs.( Check in, check out, routine Hygiene inspection, renewal)
- Book company lorries service appointments, maintain vehicle service record , insurance, road tax, vehicle inspection due, monitor and control Fuel expenses.
Account Responsibilities:
· Maintain proper documents filing and entry in our infotech Accounting Software (Our customer Invoice, Supplier/Subcontractors invoice, bills, DO filing and bookkeeping)
· Customer/Supplier/Subcontractor’s SOA preparation and monitoring overdue
· Send SOA to customers and Payment chasing
· Send RFQ to multiple suppliers/Subcontractors and get quotation and issue purchase orders
· Preparing GST documents and submit to Auditor on time
· Preparing annual accounts, P&L, Balance sheet and submit to auditors on time
Requirements and skills
- Must have bachelor’s degree
- Must be proficient in MS Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-initiative, Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
- INFOTECH HRMS, INFOTECH ACCOUNTING software hands on experience is added advantage
- Proven experience as HR officer, administrator, Accounting
- Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
- Understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures
- Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
- Strong ethics and reliability
