• Screening, interviewing, hiring, and training restaurant staff.
• Managing restaurant staff's work schedules.
• Conducting regular inspections of the restaurant kitchen to determine whether proper standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained.
• Overseeing food preparation, presentation, and storage to ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations.
• Checking in on dining customers to enquire about food quality and service.
• Monitoring inventory and ensuring that all food supplies and other restaurant essentials are adequately stocked.
• Monitoring the restaurant’s cash flow and settling outstanding bills.

· Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchen scales

· Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients

· Cook food in a timely manner

· Delegate tasks to kitchen staff

· Inform wait staff about daily specials

· Ensure appealing plate presentation

· Supervise Cooks and assist as needed

• Responsible for day-to-day business operations, growth of sales, performance and staff management of multiple restaurants to achieve target KPIs
• Drive sales revenue, increase customer service level and ensure day-to-day operational standards are met.
• Responsible for controllable cost management in terms of outlet overhead and operation costs
• Responsible for developing and grooming the store managerial team to ensure career progression, capability improvement and skills upgrade
• Work with HQ to ensure manpower is sufficient and manage manpower cost.
• Establish procedures and standards of work to ensure operation efficiency in a customer-centric environment
• Strategize with Marketing Department to increase sales and identify new sales opportunity
• Reviewing the performance of staff, identifying training needs and planning training sessions
• Utilizes and plan labour effectively to meet budgets while ensuring high quality of service
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned
