The Vice President will be reporting to the Group Chairman and will be responsible for overseeing and driving the company’s financial objectives, performance and growth in Singapore and the regional market. This role requires a dynamic leader with deep experience in leading and managing finance department in a competitive international market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall strategic financial direction and growth of the company in Singapore and develop long-term financial strategies aligned with company’s goals and market dynamics
• Implement strategies set by the company’s senior leadership in China to ensure alignment with the company's vision, objectives and values
• Regularly report to the senior leadership in China on the company’s financial performance, strategic initiatives and market conditions
• Identify new opportunities, market segments and partnerships to drive company’s financial standings
• Oversee Accounts, Corporate Finance Reporting, Treasury and Trade Finance operations, ensuring efficiency and high performance in the company
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) in the Finance department
• Implement robust financial management, including budgeting, forecasting and cost control measures
• Maintain, strengthen strong relationships and establish clear communication with key stakeholders, partners and government agencies ensuring long-term partnerships and customer loyalty
• Proactively manage all financial related risks, including but not limited to financial, operational, reputational risks and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations in Singapore

Competencies and Skill Sets required:

• Proficiency in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken) is essential for effective communication with headquarters in China and regional stakeholders
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
• Comfortable working in fast-paced and high-pressure environments
• In-depth understanding of China companies’ workflow and culture
• Strong financial acumen and experience with P&L management, cash pooling and treasury management

Education and Experience required:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, Accounts or other related fields
• Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience in a senior management or executive role, preferably in a China-based company
• Experience and knowledge on cross-border bank relationships, trade financing, supply chain financing, IPO, investment fund management etc. is a must

We are seeking a self-motivated, commercially oriented and driven individual who can demonstrate a sound understanding of data analysis, commercial acumen and management in the context of a oil & gas and petrochemicals trading environment.

In this role, the Management Analyst is expected to provide data-driven market analysis and trading ideas to the Management and Trading teams. The candidate will work with the Singapore and HQ Trading teams to provide global and regional views based on upstream/downstream demand and supply on Oil & Gas as well as other related products.

Responsibilities:

• Perform fundamental research on Oil & Gas markets and vessels tracking analysis;
• Work with the Singapore and HQ Trading teams to communicate and coordinate effectively with Trading team members on market insights, forecasts and workflows;
• Identify emerging trends based on trade flow patterns and arbitrage opportunities;
• Formulate short-term market view and generate trading ideas;
• Knowledge and experience using analytical models to analyse company portfolios, products and stakeholders;
• Possess good understanding and command of market driver fundamentals, pricing, oil markets and oil trading terminologies;
• All other job-related duties as assigned

Job requirements:

• Degree/Masters in Finance/Accountancy/Mathematics or other related fields
• Fluency in Microsoft Office
• Highly proficient in English and Mandarin to converse with stakeholders from different teams
• Highly analytical with superior communication skills to formulate complex concepts into actionable trading decisions and the ability to operate with flexibility in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment
• Problem solver who takes ownership of their work
• Can-do attitude with a strong sense of professional responsibility
• Willingness to go above and beyond their scope of duty to ensure operational effectiveness
