We're seeking Project Engineers and Site Engineers to join our team in Singapore and contribute to our civil infrastructure works projects.
About the Role
As a Project Engineer or Site Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing engineering, planning, quality, cost control, and scheduling functions.
- Adhering to the McConnell Dowell Project Execution Plan and safety/environmental responsibilities.
- Assisting senior engineers and the construction manager in daily site activities.
- Monitoring and reporting on site progress, including direct employee and subcontractor works.
- Developing procedures for construction activities and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Representing McConnell Dowell professionally in interactions with clients and stakeholders.
- Promoting McConnell Dowell’s core values and fostering a strong safety culture.
What We’re Looking For
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. 3 to 5 years of relevant on-site civil construction experience.
- Preferably, local experience and knowledge of civil infrastructure projects in Singapore.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to work on an alternate 6-day workweek schedule.
