Field Service Technician

- On-site support on annual testing of Fire Detection System.

- Diligently making sure all detectors were inspected and tested.

- Willingness to work on-site, shipyard, and on ship/vessels (necessary training will be provided).

- Possible overseas work assignments (additional overseas allowance will be provided).

- Basic electrical/electronic background is an advantage (preferably in Fire Detection System). No experience can also apply as training will be provided.

- Assist in installation and troubleshooting if required.

- Apply knowledge gained from job shadowing to actively participate in day-to-day activities while learning through practical experience.

- Possible support on other fire related systems.

- Carry out ad-hoc related works to support Engineer.

- Ensure site work safety by implementing safety measures at the site and making safety a top priority (Safety Training will be provided).

Site Service Support:

- Assisting the Engineer on site servicing.

- Assist in engineering work, ensuring that work is done safely, correctly, efficiently, and productively.

- Diligently following the engineer’s instructions and paying attention to detail.

- Willingness to work on-site, shipyard, and on ship/vessels (necessary training will be provided).

- Willingness to travel for possible overseas work assignments.

- Basic electronic/electrical background is an advantage.

- In addition, you would be responsible for ensuring site work safety by implementing safety measures at the site and making safety a top priority (Safety Training will be provided). You will also be assisting in preparing detailed reports of the day’s work at the site and keeping tools and equipment safe.
