Metizoft is seeking an experienced and highly dynamic Inspection, Survey & Ship Recycling Manager to join our dedicated team, who can make an impact towards a "Greener" future in the maritime and shipping industry. The ideal candidate will be managing a team of inspectors, surveyors and ship recycling specialists in the APAC region. The candidate should have excellent commnication skills, management skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, meeting datelines, and possess the necessary skillsets.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Managing a team of inspectors, surveyors, admin support, ship recycling specialists spread across the APAC region
- Reports to the Head of Operations
- Ensure all tasks assigned are executed smoothly within the budgeted costs
- Prepare period budgets for the management
- Prepare individual KPIs for the team
- Evaluate and improve existing processes
Requirements:
- Having the Class Societies certificates on Inventory of Hazardous Materials (IHM)
- Having recognised certificates on Asbestos Survey and Asbestos Removal
- Proven track record on undertaking Ship Recycling Projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Highly driven attitude
- Having a Degree in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture or equivalent
