Your position as a Maintenance Associate oversees KINN properties in Engineering Activities, including equipment maintenance, repairs, operations, and managing materials and supplies. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, evaluating project designs, overseeing construction, managing inventory, evaluating contracts, and reporting progress to superiors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Directs, coordinates, and participates in all activities related to engineering matters.

• Installing, maintaining, repairing, and operating equipment and related systems.
• Receiving, storing, issuing, and controlling Engineering materials and supplies.
• Maintaining, installing, or repairing M & E equipment, building works, etc.

2. Develop and implement preventive maintenance and repair schedules for all equipment, machinery, and other facilities.

3. Prepares and/or evaluates designs and specifications for all Engineering projects, supervises the installation and construction of all Engineering work, and submits periodic reports on project status and operating performance to superior.

4. Controls and sees to adequate inventory of all Engineering supplies.

5. Evaluate all Engineering contracts and bids and submit recommendations to the superior.

6. Sees that all Engineering installations, constructions, and operations comply with building codes and government rules and regulations and acts as liaison with government agencies concerned.

7. Develop policies and procedures to govern and control activities of Engineering.

8. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures and recommend necessary changes.

9. To work closely with other department Heads and all staff to achieve and maximize guests’ satisfaction and smooth workflow.

10. Supervise contractors’ work within the building facilities.

11. To standby for recall and in the event of an emergency

12. To perform other duties as assigned by the Hotel Operations Manager

Requirements

• ITE / Diploma in Facilities Management Services / Estate Management / Building Maintenance / Engineering
• or related fields.
• Preferably 1 year of experience in a similar industry
• Able to work beyond normal working hours (5-day work week) and on weekends/ PHs where required.
• Good team player with effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a range of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, Americanos, and specialty drinks, in accordance with company’s recipes and standards for taste and presentation.
• Ensure that the coffee equipment is calibrated and maintained to produce consistent and high-quality products.
• Interact with customers to understand their preferences and provide recommendations when needed.
• Operate and maintain coffee equipment, such as coffee machines, grinders, and brewing devices, to ensure consistent quality and safety.
• Greet customers, take orders accurately, and process payments efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional outlook
• Manage inventory and restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other beverage ingredients to ensure a continuous supply of materials for drink preparation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including regular cleaning of equipment and work station to meet SFA Hygiene Standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the restaurant’s menu offerings, seasonal specials, and promotions to assist customers in making informed choices.
• Provide outstanding customer service by engaging in friendly interactions, addressing customer inquiries, and handling any issues or concerns professionally.
• Suggest additional items like pastries, snacks, or merchandise that complement customers' beverage choices, contributing to increased sales.
• Multi-task efficiently to handle customer orders, maintain cleanliness, and manage brewing times to minimize customer wait times.
• Assist in other areas of operations when required, such as cashiering, service, or cleaning.
• Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless service and overall hotel operations.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Head of Barista

Requirements

• 1-2 years of Barista experience
• Required knowledge of coffee extraction and calibration (grinder and espresso machine)
• Basic latte art skill
• Positive work attitude
• A fun team player and comfortable to work in a fast-paced environment

We are looking for Full-time Front Office Associate to serve as our guests’ main point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation. Serving as KINN’s ambassador, you will be instrumental in creating a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests, and to show them the full KINN experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform check in and check out duties in accordance to the Hotel’s P&P Standards
• Update guest information into Hotel PMS system
• Filing of guest registration cards into Guest In House folders for check in guest
• Filing and storage of guest registration cards for check out guests
• Checking and charging of daily arrivals, guest in house and future bookings via Hotel PMS and various OTAs (Online Travel Agent) according to Hotel P&P standards
• Checking of daily arrivals and departures, ensuring that rooms/capsules are blocked and prepared for guest arrivals
• Perform checks on cleanliness of public areas and other guest areas such as dorms, guest toilets, public areas etc
• Check pantries and topping up of pantry amenities
• Preparing and sending of daily hotel reports to relevant parties nightly

Requirements

• Independent and adaptable
• Self-confident and makes an effort to be well-groomed and tidy
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Fluency in English is a must.
• Previous work experience as a hotel front desk agent, receptionist or similar role is preferred, but will train the right person.
• Commitment to work a 5 day work week including shifts and weekends.
• Experience with property management and digital softwares such as CloudBeds or Opera will be a huge plus!
• Experience managing online travel agent websites such as Booking.com and Agoda work is an advantage
