About Our Client
My Client is a globally renowned leader in the heavy vehicle manufacturing. We are looking for a Business Operations Coordinator/Manager.
As a Regional Business Operation Manager for Asia & Oceania, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall development of the region and its business. Reporting directly to the Regional Managing Director, you will work closely with the regional management office and Business Unit Management Teams. Your primary responsibility is to drive progression, enhance business performance, and ensure alignment with the strategic goals of the organization.
We welcome candidates from various industries, including heavy vehicles, automotive, retail, FMCG, and airlines. The crucial attributes for the candidate include strategic thinking, professional presentation skills, and the ability to manage/coordinate with stakeholders at the management level for all business operations matters.
Job Description
Business Units Covered: China (Hong Kong), Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, SSEA (Malaysia & Singapore), Australia, and New Zealand
Meeting Coordination:
Coordinate management meetings in collaboration with chairpersons, ensuring efficient follow-up on actions.
Propose agenda items for management meetings based on "hot topics" and ensure alignment of topics and decisions across various management meetings in the region.
Coordinate various regional meetings
Communication and Collaboration:
Interact between the markets and central support functions.
Consolidate and prioritize Business Unit business needs for both Distributors and Dealers.
Aggregate cross-functional Business Unit business needs from all management meetings.
Support and Verification:
Verify that a relevant level of support is provided to Business Units, both for Distributors and Dealers.
Identify and spread good practices (benchmarks) throughout the region.
Performance Monitoring:
Maintain the normal situation, detect deviations, and act immediately to eliminate them.
Participate in and contribute to improvement activities based on standardized working methods.
Project Management:
Conduct PMO trainings for Business Units interested in upskilling Project Management knowledge.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in business administrative/marketing/engineering or any related field
At least 5 years of experience in business operations or/and business management with regional coverage
Using an understanding of business issues, processes, and outcomes to enhance business performance.
Demonstrates understanding of customers, their commercial offerings, industry, business, motivational drivers, and needs.
Persuades, convinces, and influences others to obtain their buy-in and support for specific courses, actions, or directions.
Helps others make the most of their qualities and competences to accomplish tasks and solve problems.
