Job Description
Responsibilities
- Engage, manage, and develop team members through regular coaching, training, and fostering a culture of excellence.
- Implement and oversee a best-in-class maintenance program to ensure equipment performance meets or exceeds targets. Execute preventive maintenance and continuously enhance the program based on evolving equipment needs.
- Drive productivity improvement projects, including capital expenditure (CAPEX) initiatives, and support both local and global projects to achieve business objectives.
- Address equipment and process issues promptly and effectively, ensuring cost-efficient solutions.
- Lead and support various projects (Value Stream, Corrective Action Requests, Global initiatives), ensuring timely delivery within budget and performance targets.
- Prepare, monitor, and control budgets, implementing cost-saving initiatives to meet financial goals.
- Ensure the availability of correct spare parts at all times to minimize downtime.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement continual improvement activities and achieve shared goals.
The Successful Applicant
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in Maintenance Systems (e.g., SAP).
- Knowledge of Drafting & Design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor).
- Strong mechanical skills and a solid technical foundation.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective project management skills.
