Job Description

=============

• Operation of all audio-visual equipment with the aim to provide high quality technical standards
• Setup and teardown of AV equipment, led wall
• Setup, program and teardown of analog and digital audio mixer at events
• Setup and teardown of lighting
• Ensure that the audio-visual equipment is tested and in correct working order before use at an event
• Investigate equipment faults and recommend actions to rectify
• Maintain audio visual equipment including routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of video and audio equipment, LED video wall, wireless technology, computers, projectors, and video conferencing equipment
• Coordinate integration with specialty audio visual equipment as needed
• Responsible for cord management & safe set up and dismantle
• Provide regular feedback to Company on communication issues and service improvements
• Liaison with project manager regarding the exact audio-visual requirements for events. This will include assistance with PowerPoint presentations, audio and video conferences

• Flexibility to work irregular hours and weekends as required by event schedules
• Versatile, willing and flexible to take on broad spectrum of tasks and new tasks
• Adaptable to changes, stress, and last minute nature of events industry
• Passion about Audio Visual Technology and learning new technologies
• Positive, can do attitude
• Calm and level headed
• Good problem solver
• 5.5 day work week
• Class 3 driving licences will be an added advantage but not required
