Associate Technician, Operations (2 years contract)

Routine Operation

• Perform routine QC sampling and in-process testing of the product at various stages throughout manufacturing i.e bioburden sampling, water sampling.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

JOB PURPOSE

Coordinate and work alongside a team of 3rd Party Service Provider Personnel in performing warehouse and logistics activities in receiving, sampling, shipping, staging, storing, issuing, pack-out, inventory counting, transportation and documents processing related to materials movements.

MAIN RESPONSBILITIES:

• Provide guidance to Warehouses Personnel and 3rd Part Service Provider on proper and safe handling of materials, compliance to cGMP practices/procedures, accurate entry and maintenance of inventory transaction records. (as per assigned).
• Coordinate weekly microbiology test and quarterly swab-test of the pack-out rooms and isolators (as per assigned)
• Receive incoming materials. Verify incoming materials against the delivery note/document. Stage materials received neatly and transfer to storage locations. Route documents for the materials received to the appropriate departments for further processing. Record and report any variance versus the delivery note/document.
• Assemble and stage materials per production pick list and issue the materials to the appropriate plants. Accurately document all transactions. Input transaction data into the business computer systems and file the documents accordingly.
• Perform pack-out activities and observe the cleanliness requirements in the pack-out work area. Perform sanitation and cleaning of pack-out rooms and isolators. Record and document the operating temperature and relative humidity of the work area. Accurately document the pack-out transactions. • Perform sampling operation and observe the cleanliness requirements in the sampling booth. Perform sanitation and cleaning of sampling booth. Accurately document the sampling operation activities. and file the documents accordingly.
• Assemble and stage materials per the shipment packing list and hand-over the goods to designate freight forwarding agent. Accurately complete shipping document in accordance with shipping instructions. Input transaction data into the business computer systems and file the documents accordingly.
• Operate pallet truck, stacker, forklift and other material handling equipment. Handle all materials according to safety, health and environmental procedures with special attention to the handling of hazardous chemicals and store materials in accordance to its controlled storage requirements.

Qualification:

Job Purpose:

The Day/ Shift Maintenance Technician is responsible for the IPT maintenance and utility operation activities, but also other areas of the site if required.

• Operates the facility, utility, and HVAC system in the manufacturing and facility areas.

Change Control

• Participates in ECC field walk-down, including as-built P&IDs and HAZOP reviews, and completes the required action items associated with them.

SOP, Documentation, and Training

• Ensure 100% training completion based on the required training program.
• Support the development and revision of the maintenance operation Job Aids and Job plans.
• Support the continuous improvement, simplification, and optimization of documentation.

The incident, Event, Deviation, Atypical, and OOT Investigations

• Ensures all equipment OOT findings are documented appropriately and support an investigation.

• Involves Lean Six Sigma Tools (such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, SMED, and 5S) to support execution of continuous improvement and OE projects intended to increase agility, flow, and throughput, while also reducing cycle time and inventory.

Financial Stewardship

• Undertakes activities to support the realization of production, cost-effectiveness, and product cost reduction targets set in the Profit Plan, with particular emphasis on spare parts and consumables inventory and cost and reducing waste.

Associate Technician, Operations (WDA)

· Fantastic entry point into the world of sterile manufacturing! Join our team of technicians in Tuas who manufacture lifesaving cancer medications. The position is a 2 year WDA contract at company’s Biotech facility. [CJF1]

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

As a technician you will join one of the teams who manufacture our medicines. The environment that these teams work in is a clean room environment doing filling of sterile vials. Each team is approximately 10 people working on a 24x7 shift pattern. We are proud of being a diverse organisation with an even split of genders at a technician level within Biotech.

Routine Operation

• Setup and operate pharmaceutical production equipment including high-speed filling lines for sterile injectables, robotic technology, compounding panels and automatic CIP/SIP.
• Dispense, formulate and fill active biological product batches as required to meet the production schedule.
• Perform routine QC sampling and in-process testing of the product at various stages throughout manufacturing i.e bioburden sampling, water sampling
• Microbial sampling and swabbing of room and equipment.
• Perform cleaning and upkeep of the Grade C & D cleanrooms and production equipment.
• Perform filter integrity testing using an automatic filter integrity test unit.
• Preparation of equipment including loading and starting of sterilisation cycles in autoclaves.
• Complete batch documentation as required.
• Perform in-process sampling on semi-finished drug products
• Perform visual inspection, labeling and packaging on semi-finished drug products
• Perform all tasks in accordance with the standard operating procedures and maintain strict compliance to GMP at all times.

Event, Atypical Investigations

• Report QN/deviations if any.
• Participate in SHE, Business Compliance, cGMP and compliance matters, where applicable.
• Responsible to escalate Operations issues to Lead Tech or Shift Manager when required

Continuous Improvement

• Responsible to participant in Kaizen events in pharm operations in accordance with Kaizen plans when assigned

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A Diploma or Technical School graduate with background in operations and maintenance or any relevant studies
• Must be willing to work in 24x7 rotating shift pattern
• Min 2 years of working experience preferably in manufacturing industry preferred
• Good understanding of safety procedures/practices.

Senior E&I Technician (WDA)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provides support to complete work activities timely, efficiently, and satisfactorily.
• Apply Safety requirements in all aspect of day to day work.
• Follow up and continue with the previous shift or day incomplete work.
• Provides simple troubleshooting and diagnostic of equipment failure to determine the root cause and perform immediate corrective actions. Use Root cause analysis method for difficult or complex problem.
• Standby for any emergency repair after office hours / weekends and public holidays.
• Provide regular communication to stakeholders like operations and maintenance teams about equipment status.
• Maintain utility equipment like Chiller, Cooling tower, cold rooms, air compressors efficiently and reliably and to support production activities.
• Knowledge in instruments like temperature, Humidity sensors calibration.
• Maintain facilities in upright condition.
• Provide response to Alarms from utility equipment timely.
• Any other duties as and when assigned by the Supervisor / Manager

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• NTC / ITC / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Instrument & Control engineering or its equivalent
• 3 - 5 years of working experience in Utilities and Facilities or electrical/instrumentation field in the Petrochemical or Chemical or Oil & Gas or other related industries
• Simple report writing skills

Preferred qualifications:

• EMA electrician’s license will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of cGMP and good documentation practice will be an advantage.
