Purpose of Role

Take the lead and contribute to Strategic planning, financial reporting, business management as a member of regional HO of Transaction Banking for APAC region.

Main Responsibilities

Strategic

• Develop and lead the regional Transaction Banking strategy to align with Bank's global and regional direction/vision
• Liaise and collaborate with other stakeholders within the bank across regions, HO and business units
• Coordinate monthly PDCA meetings with TB team in APAC country

Financial

• Plan, forecast and report TBOA BSC/KPI including revenue, volume, expense, and HC management
• Take lead on its effective control.

Customer

• Support business in terms of strategy, administration, MIS

Other/ Control

• Effectively manage and mitigate risk within the division as planning member
• Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations
• Undertake ad hoc projects and tasks as and when assigned
• Liaise and collaborate with the Tokyo Head Office and Transaction Banking Division in Tokyo and other stakeholders within the bank across regions, HO and business units.

Job Requirements

• Degree qualified
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in banking and finance industry
• Experience in Relationship Management or Transaction Banking
• Experience in planning is preferred
• Excellent Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point skills
• Basic knowledge of Cash Management and Trade Finance
• Basic knowledge of Banking System, Digitalization, Data management system
• Basic knowledge of treasury to understand ALM
• Basic knowledge of APAC country regulations
• Due to frequent interaction with the Tokyo Head Office and Transaction Banking Division in Tokyo on corporate matters, business proficiency in Japanese Language is required.
