Role and Responsibilities

• The Lead Solution Architect (Power Platform) will be responsible for translating requirement from the key stakeholders into action and delivery in close collaboration with business users and domain architects. He/She will work closely with business, data and technology architects in translating business requirements to product features, solution architecture, develop roadmap and implementation plan that fit to the current vs. future state of Power Platform CoE.
• Best Practices, Standards, Innovation and Development
• Develop and promote best practices for app development, data management, and automation.
• Standardize templates, components, and processes to ensure consistency and quality.
• Encourage innovation by identifying and promoting new use cases for Power Platform.
• Support the development of custom applications, workflows, and dashboards.
• Lead discussions among domain architects, subject matter experts and business users.
• Governance, Compliance, Security and Risk Management:
• Perform design review of Power Platform Solutions and deliverables.
• Establish policies and standards for the use of Power Platform tools.
• Ensure compliance with Power Platform CoE standard and regulatory requirements.
• Implement security measures to protect data and applications.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits.
• Ensure that Power Platform solutions adhere to security policies and standards.
• Training
• Provide training programs and resources to upskill employees on Power Platform tools.
• Provide support and guidance to citizen and professional developers.
• Create a knowledge base and community of practice for sharing insights and solutions.
• Monitoring and Analytics:
• Implement Power Platform CoE toolkit and processes to monitor the usage and performance of Power Platform solutions.
• Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Report on key metrics and outcomes to stakeholders.
• Support and Maintenance:
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Power Platform solutions.
• Manage updates, upgrades, and changes to ensure continuity and performance.
• Address issues and incidents promptly to minimize disruptions.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 15 years of related experiences in IT industry with at least 7-year experience in Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents).
• Experience in related technologies such as Microsoft 365, Azure with data integration, automation, and application development.
• Experience in APIs / microservices best practice, framework, and architecture patterns. Well versed in development framework such as Django, Spring, nodejs, express.js, ASP.NET.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Experience in banking industry is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents).
• Proficiency in related technologies such as Microsoft 365, Azure.
• Experience with data integration, automation, and application development.
• Experience in APIs / microservices best practice, framework, and architecture patterns. Well versed in development framework such as Django, Spring, nodejs, express.js, ASP.NET.

The Lead Enterprise Solution Architect will be responsible for translating the vision and strategy from senior management into action and delivery in close collaboration with business users and domain architects. He/She will work closely with business, data, and technology architects in translating business requirements into product features, solution architecture, develop a roadmap, and implementation plan that fits the current vs future application architecture.

• Apply a deep understanding of the current business, banking industry context, regulatory context, and future vision to support the development of enterprise-wide application architecture capabilities and roadmap.
• Develop an architecture blueprint, standard, reference architecture, design pattern, guideline, and best practice related to API, integration, integration services, DevSecOps, channel services, data platform, etc.
• Develop solution architecture from various viewpoints to support business, information, security, and technology strategic analysis and decision-making.
• Conduct an architecture assessment of current and target states, align the architecture solution with tactical and strategic objectives, and provide recommendations.
• Define a comprehensive transitional architecture and plan to deliver positive results to the business.
• Be a trusted advisor to the management team and give direction/guidance to the teams in solution design and implementation. Have knowledge of technology trends and provide thought leadership to the business.
• Present roadmaps and architecture landscapes to senior stakeholders.
• Evaluate technologies, software, processes, development methods, and define best practices in the selection or development of the software components and hardware requirements of the applications and data.
• Ensure all architecture designs adhere to enterprise architectural principles - reusability, modularity, loose coupling, ease of use, and security with high-quality application performance, availability, scalability, and integrity.
• Perform a quality review of application design and deliverables, lead work sessions, and present product capabilities and architecture design to business stakeholders.
• Manage the architecture and technology governance committee agenda for solution approvals.
• Create a digital working experience for the business and hold regular Technology Talks Engagements to share the best of breed technologies in the market.
• Lead discussions among domain architects, subject matter experts, and business users.
• Provide recommendations on emerging technology to the chief architect and senior management.

Job Requirements

• Min 15 years of related experience in IT industry with experience in developing a technology roadmap, reference architecture, reusable design patterns, architecture framework, technical whitepapers with TOGAF certification.
• Experience in APIs/microservices best practices, framework, security, and architecture patterns with experience in development frameworks such as Spring, node.js, express.js, ASP.NET.
• Experience in designing a complex application or solution architecture covering Web server, Application server, DB server, Messaging software, ESB, SOA, J2EE, and .Net and experience in DevSecOps, designing CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodology.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in banking industry is preferred.

• A strong understanding of DevSecOps, designing CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodology.

• Good knowledge of coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build process, testing, and operations.
• Effective and adaptable communication skills suited to varying audiences.
• Deep understanding of controls in a Banking environment (e.g., MAS TRM, etc.).
• Experience in integration design with core banking systems.
• Strong situational analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to relay information clearly and concisely in both written and verbal communications.
• Knowledge of the Banking Industry Reference Architecture Model is preferred, e.g. BIAN, etc.
